Jamal Crawford would have been perfect as our 3rd guy

knicks had 4 players avg. 15 ppg or more prior to the melo trade

knicks had 3 players avg 15 ppg or more after the melo trade.

i don't see disrespect, especially since he the heat haven't won an nba championship since...?

What was the original question asked? He didn't say Chauncey isn't that third piece. He just said you need a third complementary piece. Maybe in answer to the question do the Knicks need a third star to match up with Miami.

he dind't name names or say get rid of anybody. He just described the attributes of the third player. There's nothing to take out of this.

You need three superstars to win a championship?

Didn't the Heat lose to the Dallas Mavericks who had one superstars and a 37-year-old PG who was a superstar?

Really, I'm indifference to what Wade said. I don't think you need a 3 superstars to win a championship. Just need to have the right pieces.

Yea. People were clapping that Wade snapped at Stern, and now it seems like that was the moment that halted the progress.

These 2 jacka$$es are why I feel the league is in real trouble the more influence superstars get. Complete tools!

Really, guys? It's not that serious. And Wade snapping at Stern is not going to halt the labour relations process. The sides met after that. It's all part of the process. There is a reason it's called a labour dispute. Settlement negotiations get heated all the time. You think the owners and players haven't yelled at one another? These are high pressure stakes.

The owners didn't say "Oh we had a deal until Wade said "Don't point at me I'm not a child" now we're not negotiating any more.

Stern and Hunter met privately and kept everybody from leaving.

The point is both LeBron and Wade are out of their league and out of their minds. They think they are larger than life. Wade should shut the f*ck up until a deal is done and both he and LeBron, both max players with huge endorsement deals on the side, should not be trying to influence the professional negotiators when the season is in the balance. They are going to be filthy rich no matter the outcome. Chill out and let the professionals work you stupid idiots. Why set the stage for potentially muddy the waters? It's selfish and it's amateurish.

I see no disrespect there, but if Bosh is considered a part of a "big 3" so should Chauncey.

Video of Chauncey draining the 3 in Wade's face was hilarious btw...

You do realise that Wade was responding to comments directed at him by Stern? Nobody batted an eye when Jordan told Abe Pollin (RIP) one of the most respected owners to "sell his team" if he couldn't make a profit. That was colder and more vicious than saying "don't point at me, I'm not a child."

I get that you, like the owners, may not like that they conspired to team up. I get that. But let's not tar them for everything.
