Good game from Shumpert. He plays this well every game, but the assists showed up this game because his crappy a** teammates were actually making their open jumpers this game.

I wasn't excepting the Knicks to pull it out once Chandler and Shumpert went to the bench. Dumb'toni still not playing Balkman and Novak. SMH. What a complete and utter jacka**.

This isolate Melo and let him save the day with his one-on-three chucks NEEDS TO STOP! I think the Knicks built their early game lead when he was sitting on the bench. I know he knows how to play team ball because he did it with team USA (sort of), now he needs to do it in the f***ing NBA.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

it wont change much

but might as well

Its just not working out. It never really has. Its too late. We have invested 55 million a year in our front court. And its rotting internally. I just dont see any argument anymore.

Never underestimate the strength of knowledge.

Bring back the physical game and send the softies home.

Someone needs to take charge. If D'Antoni isn't (and he's obviously not doing it or not able to) you might as well give someone else a chance. Doesn't matter who that someone else is there's always someone else.

thats fine

but this is a stars league, you wont see many coaches playing hardball with stars

It's Mike fault becuase he didn't do anything about it.

Like what? Bench Melo?

Talk to Melo? Talk to Stoudemire? Get the two of them on the same page with whatever it is that might actually be useful on the rest of the team? You know, his job?

We're playing guys way too many minutes. I understand we ain't a deep team, but Balkman should play. Jorts should play more. You can't ride Melo, chandler and stat to the ground before the all star break

Gallo 9-19 FG, 18-20 FT. 11 R, 2 A, 2 TO, 1-3 PT = 37 PTs

Melo 10-30 FG, 4-6 FT, 10 R, 5 A, 6 TO, 1-7 3PT = 25 PTS

b-melo wrote:A lot of you thought this game was entertaining but it wasnt for me. Very frustrating to see our coach play the same 7 guys to their death bed when we have talented guys sitting on the bench. Very annoyed tonight

I do like to say one thing. Stop the booing. Im not even a knicks fan and that made me upset. Yelling pass pass. Thats not helping ya guys at all. Would you want someone doing that to you while you're playing. I understand frustrating, but dont make things even more complicated

Good game, I guess

Denver's coaching was very questionable. Karl gave no minutes for Fernandez tonight. He hasn't played Faried but about 10 minutes all season, and that kid can start for some teams IMO. He didn't play Birdman or Koufos, either.

George Karl was lucky to win tonight, IMO.

I am neutral and don't want to upset Knick fans, but I don't like that trade for NY at all.

You don't decide Melo and Stat won't work until you try it with a PG. That's just...basic.

Westphal was fired after a disagreement with Cousins, I'm sure D'Antoni's motive for not being critical of Carmelo relates to that, given his already tenuous position. If he tries it and it does not go well and the most important player turns on him + the Knicks bad record = replaced by Woodson.
