Gallo is a good player, but I've never considered him overly intelligent.

I would say he is easily most intelligent player if he were on this team right now (outside of Kidd but his age is catching up with him). But still below Lin, but he is a PG so often that is where you see the more intelligent players. Not as a rule, but quite often.

What do you see in Gallo or Lin's game that makes you think they're more intelligent than the average NBA player? I'm genuinely curious.

It's hard to describe but blatantly clear for the eyes. For example, the way they space the floor using other players and set the tempo (more Lin). Driving and seeing the floor very very well (not just looking or seeing one player). You can't quite put this down on paper. But overall, I don't see a ton of players in the NBA that I would say have high intelligence. Guys like Kidd don't come along that often. But when you watch him play, as great as he was (and still is to a point), it is at times hard to describe. I guess you could say it is a feel for the game, but I think you already knew that...

Mr. 15 and 5

You guys are pathetic

Take your blinders off and realize why you REALLY support this guy. Its the same reason asian fans went nuts over Jeremy Lin.

Many italians in NYC who feel a connection to Gallo, and his influence extends to all caucasians.

However this guy is and always will be your false prophet.

7 for 7 from 3 one game, 1 for 15 the next game. Would rather hang in Milan than work on his game.

Mr. 15 and 5 ...always will be.

Hop off this slightly above average players family jewels...

A million pages on this dude? Pathetic...

Eric Gordon wouldve been the better pick and you know it

And those that say im being racist...well im half guinny

I miss David a whole lot - especially now that the Knicks have Chandler to cover for his mistakes.

I was very happy with the trade-Lee-and-use-cap-space-elsewhere move, and viewed Stoudemire as a big upgrade. Of course, I don't feel that way anymore.

1) no matter who you are, you are probably racist, we all are

2) Doesn't matter who we drafted, we'd have had to deal him for Melo ANYWAY

3) Shumpert21 IS this thread

4) Wilson chandler had a few good games last season, there were threads about it.

Knicks fans on a msg board, imo, want to be "right" We thought Gallo was going to be a stud when he was here, if he flops, he takes down our credibility. Same for Lin, IllWill, Lil Nate, DLee, Ariza, Sad Dog (oh, no one cared about Anthony Randolph)

Gallo ends with 26 pts/5 ast/5 reb and led the team with +26. Missed a couple of 3s that could have iced the game, but fortunately he didn't force anything and the team got the W.

All I know is that if we don't get farther than the Nuggets in the playoffs this year I'm flipping a gasket.

No. My gasket will be gone. I've already given the team a grace year since last season was whackass on a number of levels.

With the resources we spent, this team should be making the ECF. Period.

Danilo had 26 last night despite looking like he was still fighting a major sickness or fever.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

This has gone from a discussion about Gallo's clutch rating, which is fine, to a Gallo tracking thread, which is completely unnecessary
