can't we give him a 25% raise in year to?

So the league minimum would be 1.4 million and we could give him a 25% raise in year to to make his salary 1.75 or 1.8 million equaling a 2 year 3.2 million dollar contract.

Grunnie used the amnesty on Billups to get Tyson, but at the time almost everyone considered that to be a very swift move, totally out of left field. Same with signing Gadzuric to a non guaranteed deal in a previous season in order to include him in a sign and trade for Felton.

You do know that for guys like K-Mart, the veteran's minimum is about 100k less than what we had left of the mini? This will not hamper our ability to sign the players we need to sign. Only one I could see balking now is Sammy D, if that was even an option.
