He is a pretty polarizing player but he is having a great season. Despite being known as a brick layer he is shooting a respectable 45% from the field and 34% from deep. But his most valuable skill set is his defense. As a 6'6 guard he can defend multiple positions and is averaging 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per game which is elite.

Reasoning: One of the most underrated and consistent players in the league who likely gets overshadowed due to playing on bad teams. I decided to go with Young since he's a solid 2 way player on both ends of the floor on offense and defense..nearly averaging a dbl dbl at 15/9 with 50% shooting and couple steals a game. He's able to score inside efficiently. He might not be known as a rim protector, but that's okay since OKC has one of the best in Noel. With NBA evolving into small ball, he should be pretty good at the 4. He plays hard and doesn't complain...just goes out there and plays. He has a decent contract as well 50 mil/4 years considering what other players got and with new contracts coming. Young provides another scoring option behind Durant/Oladipo too. Welcome to the Thunder, Young!
