LOL You just KNEW that pos Charlie Rosen was going to stop drooling on himself and write another trash article. Man, if I'm Janis or KP, I demand a trade this morning. No way I come back to play for this awful franchise.

Booker is a "great scorer" and he has a TS% less than KP, and that's all he does, score! It would be a terrible trade

Saying Devin Booker is on KP's level as a prospect is **** laughable. Booker doesn't have 1/10th of the defensive potential that KP has. They might have a similar offensive impact (that's arguable too), but overall impact not even close.

Looks the same to me. I don't think his body type will allow him to add more weight to play center.

Outside of the Kings almost every situation in the NBA would be better for KP to be in. Not sure he is scared to be traded or moved at this point in fact he is probably welcoming it. That is why Phil flexing his muscle is meaningless. Janis be like so what trade him then.

What Phil did last night and Rosen did this morning is exactly what started this mess in the first place. You think KP going to wake up hear Phil and read the article and magically come running back to NY ASAP and make up?? Crazy talk. All this dysfunction and craziness is what started the problems in the first place. All Phil did was make it worse last night.

I like Booker a lot but he does not have KP's potential. Plus if you dislike Melo's game, you'll absolutely hate Booker's game. He never passes and takes a ton of bad shots. Like JR Smith on Crack bad.

Yup i am pretty shocked that the Suns wouldnt give up Booker and 4 for KP. Seems like an easy move unless we were asking for more than just that.

you're not gonna get a trade of equal value. but if you had to trade him, booker and 4 is probably the best you're gonna do.

Sure he's been bad but that's not franchise damaging. He's had one awful contract in Noah. His trades weren't even that bad. The only thing you can really complain is not getting enough value for his pieces. He hasn't really given up anything in trades. You know like unprotected 1st for Tmac, Bargs, etc. The tweeting and pissing players off, whatever, that's really not that important. Isiah literally went to court for sexual harassment and Dolan tried to help cover it up and people don't even mention it anymore.
Phil trading KP for garbage would be a franchise altering move. But atm we have picks and a nice looking front court of the future. The rest is noise.

(Snipped because quote was all messed up.)

Noah's contract is beyond awful - it's the worst or second worst in the entire NBA. On top of that, there was no need for him with the front court we had.

He's acquired players in an attempt to make the playoffs, only to fail because either they're always hurt, they suck, or they don't fit. He traded away RoLo for **** and got horrible value in the previous deals before that. That cannot be overlooked.

I don't think it's noise as all - if KP is legitimately annoyed, and players already don't want to sign here, we're ****. The fact that he went on TV to reduce the value of Melo (after already doing so through Rosen and Twitter) and then goes on TV to complain about KP and alienate our future shows that he's an immature twat who doesn't know what he's doing (especially when you take into account everything he's done). The tweeting and callin players out IS important because it's a players league. If players don't want to play here because they don't like Phil, we're ****.

Yeah, Thomas was very bad, but that doesn't excuse Phil one bit for being a **** FO executive either.

I agree Phil has been bad. And yes the rolo trade was bad and that worries me that he'll get a crap return. But listen to what I'm arguing. Franchise damaging is was Sean Marks inherited from the Nets. No picks, no stars, etc. If Phil was fired and was replaced with Someone more competent, are you going to tell me that we wouldn't be in a good spot? We'd probably be in the best position we have been in over a decade honestly.
What you're saying isn't wrong. But I don't think it's as big of a deal as you think. No one was coming to this team anyway. Who was signing here before Phil came here? We're going to have to win games to get players to sign period. Phil isn't here forever, all this **** will be forgotten once he leaves. It's more of a stain on him than the Knicks.

I'm saying if Phil were fired, we would be in a better spot because of KP, not because of anything Phil did - Phil's crippling moves and half-assing tanks will **** whoever comes next, if it happens before the deals run out.

Yeah, we need to win games, but if players are not coming to the Knicks specifically because of Phil, that is an issue.

Seeing fans of other teams / writers salivate at what they'd offer for KP is making me sick to my stomach.

I think booker is as intriguing a SG as there is in the NBA right now

I really like Tatum or Jackson at 4

I think we could get Bender too

I still don't make that trade

The only way I consider it is if all those pieces come with Bledsoe and we send no significant player back.

Basically send Lee and Thomas and KP for Bledsoe, bender, booker snd #4

That's fair value

I'd still probably not do it
