Bledsoe/Frank/THJr/KP/WHG could be fun, if not great

What's the deal with this Bledsoe talk? Did I miss something?

It's more like 109m bc Lee only has 38 left on his deal, but pretty much the same as 119 for all intents and purposes. But Lee is movable and as well as Dotson played in SL, it's still summer league. It's not like we are assured of anything with him, whereas THJ and Lee have proven to be NBA starting caliber players. Dotson can still get minutes on this team even with THJ and Lee, assuming Melo is gone.

The Rox aren't going to want to give up anyone but Anderson. It's going to be the clippers trade all over again. We're going to keep melo one more year and he can opt out. No one's giving us anything we'd want

Nah they all have each other's backs. When one player gets paid like that, it's good for all players, and a lot of these guys really are friends. No reason to be upset about that remark.

Re: OFFICIAL: Welcome BACK to New York THJr (4/71m)
As long as this signing doesn't affect the tank, I am ok with it. If this means we are trading Lee and desperately needed a shooting guard, I can live with it. If we signed this larger contract for 4 years because we realized in about 3 years we will be ready to compete and will need a larger contract on an expiring to trade for star, I am happy we did it.
But...
I am very worried we did this because we thought it will help us win games this year. for once we were finally in a place where we were not going to do any signings, we were going to dump veterans for assets and tank. This signing says we are not trying to do that. Once again I am scared we are going to try and fight to get an 8th seed which we wont. And draft again in the 7 to 10 range. can someone please explain to me why this was a good signing and a smart move. Even if Hardaway has improved tremendously how does this help us with our ultimate goal? Which I thought was get a very high draft pick and draft another impact player or potential star to pair with Porzingis. What am I missing?

Just seems like Wade had to get a shot in there. Couldnof just said New York is getting an improved player.

Re: OFFICIAL: Welcome BACK to New York THJr (4/71m)
The other thing is that if Thard turns out good but we find ourselves needing cap room, then maybe we attach a pick to get rid of Noah. That becomes easier to do in his final season or final two seasons.
There are ways to maneuver it. Y'all talk like it's a death sentence when there's no truth to that. You don't want to give up picks or any pick but if it's needed to bail yourselves out of Noah and get into contention, then fine.
Teams all have to fix and erase mistakes. We just can't afford for Noah and Thard to be bad. Totally different situations though. Timmy not an injury risk or older, and he's not a dirtywork big man. The two have no relationship to each other.

Pure guessing, but there is that heavy rumor of Melo going to Houston according to Sports Modak/Jason Kidd's Son/Big Baby Head/etc, and then the Phoenix rumors.
Someone said they'd like to move Bledsoe.
It might be wishful thinking on my part it's Bledsoe instead of Knight. I think Phoenix moves a PG and what do the Knicks need?

bledsoe?
Who comes back towards the Knicks if the Knicks trade with Houston?
Gordon? With CLee and THJr?
Anderson?
Figure it's a 3rd team and Phoenix rumors have been heavy the last few days. I HOPE it's Bledsoe and not the ghost of Tyson Chandler or Knight or something horrible like that.

I just appreciate our apparent temporary head of front office tying up our cap space for four years in a questionable, at best, move. When yall see the value of having open cap space next year as most teams are capped out you will be angry. Go thjr!
