OT: WFAN's Craig Carton Arrested & Suspended

Was listening to Boomer and Simms on my commute today, and they were great. They got actual, meaningful, sports talk in, while keeping it fun. The show could possibly get better without Craig.

The Feds never come for you UNLESS you are Guilty and they can prove it. Their conviction rate is scary. Its not like the state. When the Feds come they KNOW they have something that will STICK. Also do not know anyone in sports radio who can talk football better then Boomer - Phil Sims would be a great temporary partner to kick off NFL season.

Good for his racist ass. Boomer too..karma is a bitch. I started disliking the show more and more as the kaepernick thing was going on. These two were really showing their true colors. I like listening to Hahn and Humpty. At least Alan is connected to the Knicks and watches them every night. And, even though he's a hockey player, Humpty did play professional sports and seems to also watch the Knicks a lot. Also, they're not arrogant pricks.

I usually put on the tv simulcast for background noise while getting ready for work. Didn't respect the guy's sports opinions, but I thought he was a good interviewer, and I enjoyed the show best when they weren't talking sports. The tangents they'd go off on (generally involving the other guys working on the show) were the best part of the program. 6 in the morning, eating my oatmeal, trying to open my eyes just wide enough to make sure my clothes match, I'm not really looking for hard hitting x's and o's sports analysis. Maybe that's why I didn't hold him to the same standard as most of the other blowhards on the radio/tv. Oh well, I'll miss the guy.

Humpty is solid. Although I can't stand his continuous interuptions while others are trying to voice their thoughts. I'd take Chris Canty over both Rosenberg and Carton.

I used to love this stuff but so much sportstalk radio in New York seems to be talking calls from the dumbest most extreme people and then having the host yell at them...I cant stand that type of thing...(LaGrecca and Rothenberg act like we are at war.) Humpty comes off as a decent dude Hahn can get a little preachy for me. I get that some people eat that stuff up but since I really am an NBA guy it can be tedious.

Carton is realer then all of them. LaGreca is the chillest there and he started at WFAN. ESPN is corporate. Boomer and Carton is ying and yang.

Giants fans hated Carton all week for speaking the truth only a New Yorker degenerate from Westchester could..
