Let's be honest. He's not looking good.

who is saying frank is looking good?

People don't wanna say it right out they make excuses for it, which is my point. Usually by year two expectations go way up with Knicks fans but with Frank things seem different.

He gets a pass because he plays defense. You don’t get criticized for being trash offensively if you play defense because...hey at least he plays defense.

But Fiz is encouraging him to chuck so if Frank is well aware of this and doesn’t chuck, then he’s seemingly telling us he doesn’t want to play.

I doubt he's telling him to chuck but Frank is hesitant to even take good open shots or look for mismatches.

But at some level the whole modern game stuff is misguided and kind of a sign of the decline of the times.

the modern game is not everybody calling their own number, hardly shooting 3s and post ups for a big man. quite the opposite.

All I know is that for whatever reason — and there are a few — passing and fundamentals and team play have been receding since the 1970s. Slowly but surely. The game is too easy for these big guys. There’s some lack of need for passing.

It’s not all coaching philosophy and scoring but the game is lesser than it was as a real competitive pursuit that requires team play to be successful.

Still need it. But some bad lessons have been learned and/or the game has been mastered too much and/or dominated too much by offensive advantages.

There’s also the simple fact that 3s are up a lot.

Well he shouldn't. The only guys who get that pass are all world defenders. Frank hasn't earned that yet and he might not ever.

the good teams move the ball well. at one point i believe the sixers had 30 assists on like 41 of their baskets.

meanwhile, the knicks are always at a maddeningly low assist rate that suggests we don't move the ball, move without the ball, run plays that promote offensive cohesion...

I think Frank's lack of lift is an issue on his jumper too. That jumper was flatter than a pancake tonight.

Which means he needs to get the **** outta here for his own good.

He can go to a team that will better utilize him but at a price of a first rounder and a 2nd.

Does that sound ridiculous? Possibly which means Frank you ain’t going anywhere, you’re our bitch to own and you ain’t leaving until we’re done with you.

We should get an offensive coach. This is not a lot of movement. The only shots we get are 1 on 1. Let’s ... and this may sound crazy ... put in an offense.

truth is, if it wasn't only a month and change into his nba career, this board would be more worried about knox than frank. this time next year he better have figured some things out.
