I'd trade Vonleh for any picks possible. He's too inconsistent for my liking; might as well pick up a 2nd rounder or 2 to help fill out the roster that will kinds be depleted after the season (only 4 GTD contracts next year).
Vonleh to PHI for their 2019 2nd rounder (via CHI)? Who says no?

I would do:
Kanter, Knox, Mitch, Trier, 2019 NYK 1st, Mavs Two Picks *and* DSjr in a separate deal to Pelicans or to a 3rd team that reroutes compensation to the Pels (since DSjr can only be traded on his own)
Frank + AD + two max cats + mid-level fillers. Finals would be in reach in NY... finally.

Rozier is a restricted FA. Their picks aren't as valuable as you think (2 might not even convey this year):
The Memphis pick will likely be protected this year (especially if they trade Gasol and/or Conley)
The Clippers pick is looking like it might be protected this year too (after trading their best player, doubt they make playoffs)
The Kings pick isn't as valuable as it was thought to be (it was projected to be another top 5ish this year, and its #14 and they've got a decent shot at the 8 seed)

What a

*Rozier is BARELY on par with Knox since Rozier is getting PAID in the offseason, while Knox is 19 and on a Rookie contract.
*Horford is old and injury prone now. Can’t play PF anymore. Is also about to look for PAYMENT
*Those picks are now very average since many of those teams have gotten better or will. They also have protections on them. Only ONE of the FOUR we can offer will have protection.
Get your fuqn facts straight troll,

Why would New Orleans trade AD for our 2019 pick TODAY? AD immediately makes that pick weaker. So let's nip that in the bud.

The MEM pick not conveying makes it better. 1-6 next year and unprotected in 2021. That’s now their best asset.
The LAC pick is lottery protected again next year
SAC has dropped.
BOS meh. But they can throw a lot of them in.
Rozier might not be tradable. I’ll confirm that.
Flip Horford. Teams will pay for his services.
Brown > over every prospect we have currently.

What does him not handling it well even mean?
Defending himself on burner accounts when he should be sleeping.
Whatever he deals with or dealt with in Golden State or Oklahoma will be x10 here.
He will be "the guy" here. It will be his team. If the Knicks win, it will be "the Knicks" won. If the Knicks lose, it will be "Durant" lost. With GSW, he has Steph and Klay take a big load and a lot of faults. That was and still is Steph's team. In OKC he had Russell who took a lot of fault. He was chucking a lot of missed shots in the PO losses where people put the blame on. KD will take most if not all the fault with the Knicks. He will be the oldest, most paid, most seasoned player on the team.
I'm all for bringing him here btw. 100%. But there is some concern. The last thing I want is him to fail, and we hear the same song and dance of the Knicks media and fans killing their star athletes.
I disagree. If Durant lost in NY it wouldn't be "Durant lost" but rather Kyrie, Durant and Zion etc, etc lost because K.D isn't going to be the only big name player who comes to NY (If any at all).
Just like it was LeBron's fault in Cleveland and even Miami, it will be the same with Durant. Even if he is joined by Kyrie and/or Zion. Kyrie's ceiling is already known to be a Robin on a championship team. Zion will be a rookie.
Durant has already said he's tired of being #2 in the league. And wants to be #1 over LeBron. He's going to have to take a lot of flack if he wants to be viewed as #1.

Because the Knicks might be saying to them, "look, if the pick hits Zion, it's no longer available so now's your chance at it."
It's similar to trading any prospect, just with much more tangible odds.

Anthony Davis will not re-sign with Boston end of story.. This bidding war will be up to the Lakers and Knicks once Knicks get the top two pick

Deeeez Knicks wrote:It really does not make sense right now for the Knicks to make a move for AD right now.
You're assuming we can get him later. Waiting until the summer adds risk. If Boston is able to convince Kyrie and AD to sign with eachother, Tatum trumps our pick (which is projected to be pick 3.7 based off of odds). If Boston gets AD, KD is not coming without Kyrie and they'll create a dynasty. Meanwhile. Kawhi is not coming perioid. Klay and Kemba are staying put. We don't want Butler on a young team. Most overrated player in the world. So, I see it as:
Mitch
Someone on a good-sized 1 year deal
Knox - LFT
Ja Morant/Barret/Cam - Trier
DSJ - Ntilikina
No FA's are coming...
VS.
Who Knows (Zaza and McGee won championships...)
AD
KD
Who Knows
DSJ
This isn't Melo + Amare.... This is KD and AD. From there, we'd probably use the rest of our money on a 1) DJ 1-year; 2) try to trade for someone like Lillard, McCollum, Beal or some other guard that can shoot, or 3) Kyrie + KD take slightly less than the max to play together. You can't pass up the opportunity to pair AD and KD... no matter what the cost.
