We probably need two more top 5 picks to build a contender anyways.

He has more seasons shooting a 54% TS or below then 60% TS. For a big man he’s anything but efficient. Multiple sub 50% FG seasons, only hit above .500 eFG % once in his career, this dude been a bum.

That’s why New Orleans wanted nothing to do with him. Was able to scout him an entire season when he was supposedly “very efficient” and didn’t even offer him a contract. They know he’s trash and a horrible fit for almost any roster trying to win. And they’re a rebuilding team as well.

and it’s beyond his terrible skills with Randle, he has the **** body language on the the team next to Bojangles.

I mean even Anus Kancer was a better leader then this guy. At least he stood up for his teammates against Lebron. Randle never gets back on defense, only jumps if he’s rebounding his own misses, and is a literal 0 as a shot blocker/perimeter defender. And he’s probably arguing with a ref for a foul call that was never there after turning the ball over spinning into 3 defenders.

I’m not even kidding guys, Randle has no redeeming qualities as a winning NBA player. He’s the quintessential pad-my-stats-on-a-bad-team guy that only an inbred fool would mistake for a quality basketball player. This is beyond a coaching utilization issue his entire existence as an NBA player is FLAWED.

I think the THJr comparisons are somewhat on point. Are they alike as players? Not really. But they both share being overpaid, kind of low IQ players who need a strong handed coach to make them stay in their lane, and are, at best, guys you want as 7th men on good teams that have good playmakers, so they rarely, if ever, have to freelance. Otherwise, left to their own devices, they'll dominate the ball and play in a stupid kind of way. Obviously Randle is more inclination to pass, especially taking into account he's a big instead of a guard, but players can accumulate assists at times and still not really be winning players. Like Marbury did.

Let’s keep Randle at least until the lottery.

Every time his teams have their pick it ends up as either #1 or #2. Perhaps he is the lucky charm.

exactly.

Mills has a fetish for these low IQ chuckers with all-star ambitions that he just can’t help himself every summer. The beautiful irony in all of this is that his “big splash” free agency moves are the ones that are going to cost him his job. He might have actually been able to slither his way into keeping his position had he literally done nothing and just made his mediocre signings like portis and ellington. We’d still suck no doubt, but these aren’t players with any contract leverage for the coaches to feel obligated to prove their worth.

That’s the one redeeming quality about randle on this team. It highlights mills ineptitude in evaluating talent and constructing a competent roster.

I bet Mills had a lot to do with Bargnani.

7 pages but no realistic trades because "No Handle Randle" sucks. We are stuck with this bum for probably two seasons. Hopefully, we can get out from under the other vets and collect a few assets.

That's true.

Actually, I hope Mills forces Miller to play Randle at Point Forward all season long.

At least it's only a 2 year wait, unlike Mills other big splash, THJr, where we almost had to wait 4 years.

Ironically while he is leading us to a top pick IRL, he is also leading me in BAF to the top of the east conference. I am 7-2 with him

Addition by substraction type situation for us. The only thing Randle expects to be a full time starter and thats the problem. I dont ge the vibe he is open to coming off the bench and that is why he is harder to move. Teams have to commit to his demands.

i don't know how it'd happen, but i legit thought the same thing. dallas could use him.

Actually it was a guy right under Grunwald who was responsible for persuading Dolan to sign off on that one.
