The NBA wants to start the 20/21 season in December... KP likely to miss at least at least 4 months and then I'd expect Dallas to be REALLY careful bringing him back. KP just may miss the entire season, especially if Dallas is struggling. The other thing for them would be to not wear Luka out. In any case, I just don't think KP will live up to that max contract.
