Re: Knicks - Cavs PG
Knox dealt with an inconsistent franchise since he’s been here. Hopefully it comes to an end cause these young guys need consistency from the coaching staff in order to develop.

Exactly! You’d think with a young team we would do the unthinkable and use it to our advantage. Run and gun would make this team watchable again.
Thibs please give this group another shot.

I hope Thibs was impressed with Mitch with how he handled being in foul trouble and finally trust him as a starter.

yes and no. We still can't shoot.
and lets be honest we were playing the canton charge down the stretch.
I am more than happy to see the young guys play and play well but we need to be measured here...this wasn't even the cavs 3rd stringers...I don't think one of those guys are even going to make there 15 man roster.

These top 10 draft picks AT LEAST need to get fcking minutes before we can call them a bust right?
appreciate you being self aware. he's probably a bust, but agreed.

I know. I was just deriding him based on how the Knicks worked their assets. Still think they could have gone Dotson/Flynn/someone else.
But I like him.
you're totally right but sometimes you want to just grab the guy you want to not risk someone stealing him.
Agreed. And Payne was coaching him just a couple months prior, essentially.
And it may not just be his talent, which is evident, but his mentality, coachability, and they didn't want to risk it.
His mentality, support system, "IQ" (hehe), etc made him a good pick. I love the kid. I thought Malachi Flynn was the right pick. Hope IQ continues to progress.

Nice to have another pg on the roster with the skillset that can actually challenge Payton and hopefully take his place.

Re: Knicks - Cavs PG
Quickley won't play when Burks and Rivers are back and Bullock won't get benched for going 0-6 from three often.
The logic is insane.

If Quickley has fun like that, the media will gravitate. While sticking it to Kyrie and the Jersey Nets.

Who were the Cavs playing in the 4th quarter? Was Drummond there?
Legit question I couldn’t watch.

But you also have to get rid of Randle because he takes away from a good point guard. Randle actively brings the value down on some players.. a point guard would be one of them.

Re: Knicks - Cavs PG
Its nice having a guard that has the tools to attack a close out. He might not be able to attack the rim and draw contact but he'll make the right plays

I still like the chemistry and energy with the kids. Let's face it, we're never going to move the needle playing a bunch of 1-year mercenaries.
