it's going to be real interesting who loses playing time when rivers is back, a part of me knows quickly was never considered to be in the rotation this season so it'll be his minutes that get affected.

Bullock isn't good. He will lose his rotation spot on the quickness.

I feel a playoff team will want Bullock. We might be able to get a 2nd rd pick for him

Bullock was 3-15 from 3 in the preseason before getting hot and going 3-4 in the last game.

Dude is just jacking up 3's at this point and 6-19 in the preseason is nothing to get excited about.

I think the same. We could def get a 2nd for him especially for how cheap he is. He’d fit into a lot of team’s trade exceptions

Shameless plus of my nephew's holiday e-card.

He's primarily a tuba player, then guitarist. The piano is his 3rd instrument. He sight reads, so he just banged this out, then put some graphics on top of it.

Give him a few clicks.

My prediction for tonight's game. See if this sounds familiar.

Vets start the game. We fall behind badly. Rookies come in and they make some mistakes so Thibs give them the quick hook. So the vets come back in and we continue to lag by about 20 points until the 4th quarter when Thibs puts the kids back in and mount an exciting comeback. But it'll all be for naught as the Knicks lose.

I expect this to repeat itself for the 71 games thereafter.

What he didn't share is I was the one who PM'd him to remind him to post a new game thread during pre-season after they won. He waited until hours before the game to post that game thread and I was the frigging guy who reminded him. And this is the first regular season game in almost a year and peeps were dying to post about it and they were again nowhere to be found 24 hours before game time. Not our fault they can't get their act together until the last minute. And still I offered to lock this up, but all we get from them now is hate porn so fck em indeed

I agree, I don't like him at all and can't imagine any scenario where he's retained and helps the team. But it's more about the fact that Quickley just played well in a shortened preseason and is a rookie. You don't have to rush him out there. It's not do or die. If he does, great. But I'm saying this is in a normal purview of a good coach. I'm whatever about Quickley starting. More concerned about Mitch.

Most concerned about just people playing well. This is more of a headline here than I think it is something that really matters a lot.

Now if Quickley plays very little and Elfrid and Randle are out there, I'll say Thibs is a moron. I call balls and strikes really. I don't care about defending this or that just for the sake of it -- but I just don't think Quickley being put out there as a starter in Game 1 is much of anything. You may want to reduce his nerves a little and for that reason alone, it's fine to bring him in slowly ... even just to ease him in a little ... not because Elfrid is good lol.

I agree..

What we gain by having a vet guard out there we lose with spacing. Even if Quick sucks on D and shooting at least we wont be complete trash on offense in terms of spacing and fluidity.
I cant take Payton and Randle show when shots are not falling and they go back to nba 2k style of basketball.

The DSJ vs Frank war is over my friend. We’ve moved on and we rather see Quickley play over them.

No doubt. IQ is the best guard on the roster by a good amount. I still welcome any of the other guys to show out and claim their rotation minutes, but I don't think anybody is hanging on for that now that we have a solution at PG

Agree. Doesn't matter who starts tonight. If IQ is our Point Savior than noone is keeping the starting job from him.

the decision to start quickley is not even all about payton vs quickley as players. it's about putting a lineup together that puts guys into position to succeed. why would i trust any decision they make if they won't even do that.
