I'm sure the half dozen real long time Nets fans and half a million bandwagon Nets fans that try to pretend they've always been Net fans care.

And a lot of the Knicks fans clearly care since there are two topics on the 1st page about it.

The Nets winning multiple championships would be equivalent to the NY Islanders winning 4 straight Stanley Cups in the early 80's: Nobody will remember that it ever took place 10 to 40 years from now.

Lol @ Brooklyn losing 2 games in a row!

How will Brooklyn losing to Milwaukee and getting eliminated impact the Nets moving forward?!?!?

That's what happens when u load up a team with #2 options: Durant (Curry #1); Irving (Lebron #1); Harden (never won it). :D

Not with Kyrie Irving suffering an ankle sprain they aren't.

BK is a fake $$$$$ bought team.

Milwaukee is a real homegrown built contender being led by a Greek Freak superstar.

BK going home!

I confess I was a Net fan - when the played on the Island, where I lived. Once they went to NJ it was like Benedict Arnold time.

Did you get to see the Rick Barry Nets play at the Hempstead area? Lavern Tart, Sonny Dove, Billy Melchionne.

My brother went to Miami so one of the first games I saw was Rick Barry score 33 or so and it looked like 10 he was so smooth or I was too young to realize the effort it took.

To make up for the loss of revenue after they're ejected from the playoffs, the Nets are putting out a record to raise some revenue. It is expected to have only 1 song that lasts 2 years, and the working title is, "The Three Mercenaries. The marketing hype is "Look how much they've done in only 2 years! Such a bargain! Buy the EP!"

Na. Keep it. This way when BK gets eliminated in embarrassing fashion all TEN (10) of their NJ Nets fans can watch us mocking them.

I don't want to trade the farm for an AGING PG in Dame. I'd love to sign K. Leonard as a FA while keeping all of our youth and talent but a big fat NO to becoming the next $$$$ NJ Nets that just isn't FUN for me.

I'd rather never win a Championship before buying a 3 team roster.

We got some really butthurt people in this thread

You guys are kidding yourself that you didn't want KD Kyrie and a 3rd superstar. That's a guaranteed dynasty. Yeah, an injury is always a risk but it's still the best build you can think of.

Don't lie to me and say you rather build through the draft so Knicks can bomb picks. Don't lie to me and say you rather have a bunch of 2nd choice free agents

We saw the kind of players the Big 3 Heat got. Vet Guys like Ray Allen and Mike Miller will flock to super teams to ring chase

Same thing will happen to the Nets. They are just getting started and they will pickup nice players just with vet minimums and MLEs.

It's honestly the same thing when you try to build "through youth". 3 to 4 guys will end up cap tying you then from there you sign what you can with vet minimums and MLEs

Knicks will be over the cap with RJ, Mitch, and Randle before we know it.

Guess we'll have to go to an alternate universe to find out, cause it's not happening in this one.
