I don't think thats the case. I think LMA counts towards the cap and Dragic is free.

His 1033 number has LMA in it (I did the math and I think it works out)...not Dragic who is basically taking up his spot. Its basically why the exempt list filler has to be equal or less that players salary.

Interesting. But losing Dragic is a tough one in my opinion.

Not really I think in terms of a SIM impact LMA is the more useful player, even coming off a bad year last year he still avg 44 percent from 3 for me last season on 4 attempts per game. The SiM for some reason has a general positive bias towards giving big men the benefit of the doubt.

Hoffa likely sold him on LMA being a better / more impactful player compared to Dragic, considering how OKC’s team is built. That’s why that trade was made.

Hoffa didn’t want LMA coming back and forcing him to release Oladipo after he gave up assets for him. So he sold/dumped him on E-Balla.

E-Balla is no fool tho. He had a lack of quality bigs besides Moses, so he is betting on LMA at the expense of Dragic.

Yeah I sent out Chriss for Satoransky with this in mind. Westbrook/Simmons/Satoransky can easily cover for me at PG. That's 2 all stars and someone that's started more than half his games the last 4 seasons IRL all at the PG position.

LaMarcus' production in the sim is consistently great and along with Westbrook he led the Warriors to a title already in BaF. Love Dragic but LMA is undoubtedly a better player in the sim. Especially since Dragic should be dropping a lot and I don't think LMA's ratings are going down much (his FTA and rebounding should be down but everything else should be the same and rebounding and getting to the line is what I have Ben and Russ for).
