This just feels like the quintessential Cam tease game tho. I still dont like his feel for the game, as he basically shot the ball every time he touched it. Maybe passed twice all night.

When he’s hitting his shots you live with it I suppose, but he usually doesnt attack the basket like he did or play with a chip on his shoulder. Hopefully this isnt an aberration.

We’ll see how this unfolds but Thibs/Leon gonna have some decisions. We have a bunch of scorers and guys that could play more. Obviously we’re still setup for a big trade, and wed still have solid depth after.

You need hard-nosed defenders - and you can never have too many of those.

The good news is that his points came on drives and he had to face good bigs inside

That is repeatable because it's actually hard to keep in front of him

I would be more dismissive if it was just a hot perimeter shooting game

A lot depends on our open court game. If we're playing the kind of defense that triggers fast breaks then having Cam on the floor is a big plus. Him and Obi are our two best full court finishers. This was a game that presented those kinds of opportunities for Cam and the key is he took advantage of them and showed no hesitation. He is very gifted around the rim.

It’s game 1 yet we already knew not trading for Mitchell was such a colossal mistake by this franchise
