Embiid won’t get suspended. We’ll be in a dogfight for game four. Hoping our boys could bounce back and show their true grit. Other than the lazy 3rd quarter defense, I saw some promising signs from several guys.

Was at the game. 3rd quarter was absolutely insane and an anomaly. The guys started to figure some things out towards the end, but it was too late. Also, Embiid was mad dirty all night. I was sitting by some Sixers fans and even they agreed the stuff he was pulling was dirty.

You could also tell this was a make-up game by the refs for what happened in game 2.

We'll be alright. Weather the storm and move on. We knew this wasn't going to be a cakewalk no matter what. One game at a time.

Sixers primed the refs to make calls their way with all the crying and bitching from Nurse and Embiid, and filing that grievance, prior to tonight’s game. Hopefully the pendulum swings back the other way for game 4.

I don't know how you can say fair and square when Joel was trying to hurt our guys out there. Joel shouldn't have made it out the 1st quarter. And I just saw the OG bump. And there was a play where Joel stuck his leg out to try to trip JB. That's BS.

I try not to be a whiny bitch when we lose if the losing margin is more than anything a ref or a thug has done. If it results in sidelining one of our guys, then yeah sideline them in response. Otherwise, I want to get ready for the next game rather than wallow in regret.

One of the TNT announcers said if the Sixers win the next game the advantage goes back to them. WTF are these people? We will still have home court advantage. My attitude is as long as we learned from this loss we can come back to take the next one. This game was still very winnable despite the ridiculous 3 point shooting by them.

They have the home ref advantage....but seriously it would be nice for us to be able to build a big lead early.

It would be great. If you win the next game, it takes so much energy to win a series down 3-1.

look, it takes a special kind of maniac to try to intentionally hurt someone. i'm sure most athletes feel like they wouldn't want that to happen to them so they don't do it to others. the problem with foul calls like this is the refs respond more to your reaction than what actually happens. if mitch did an acting job and grabbed his leg and acted like he was seriously hurt they probably would have thrown him out. but because he just got up they didn't treat it like it's a big deal.

I'm not above selling hits. A modern approach, sure, but effective.

you see a lot of stars do it. but i'm sure to some guys it feels cheap. i really see this as the refs fault. if mitch got hurt enough that he had to be carried out joel would have probably missed more than just this game. so only the results are penalized not the intent. it's like shooting at someone and missing and not being charged.

It was really wild. They couldn't play any D on Embiid. It was an immediate whistle. I'm of the opinion that if they're going to call a foul anyway, might as well make it worth the trouble.

So just came back from the game. The team fought hard…a few times when I feel like they lacked some poise but on the whole, they shouldn’t be scared of Philly. Respect them, yes, but we’re not outmatched.

Embiid was a monster but yea he was also being some dirty and flopping a ton. When’s he on fire like that and getting calls…man, hard to beat. Hope Mitch is okay.

I never said the Knicks are/were going to lose against Philly. Please pull up receipts instead of talking out of your ass. You on some strawman schit as usual. Just pointing out that playing the Pacers would've been the better move for us while homers like you thought otherwise and kept shrugging off how good Embiid and the sixers are. It's actually even worse now with Embiid injuring our players. Hopefully we can pull this off while staying healthy. Pacers were the ideal matchup and there's a good chance we would've swept them with minimal injuries.

Yeah, that's pretty much what old school coaches tell their guys about anyone coming down the lane. Make it count.

We got away from that level of intensity in the third.

Embiid couldn't lose basically. Either he made a shot or got a free trip to the line on most possessions. What's twisted about it is he's a massive slab of beef and they're blowing whistles as if they need to protect him when he's the one trying to physically maim us.
