52% on that left corner though.
Think OG is money from the right corner. Not sure why they wouldn't constantly just be in their sweet spots.

Last year starting in the left corner he was 41%, 37%, 34%, 35%, 40% and he took the left- and right-wing threes on a higher volume than he did corner shots. '

Year before that he was at league average or above all around the arc, pretty much every year he's been league average to good/great all around the arc, except when he became a Knick of course.

Hart on Mikal....what a great teammate ....so well said....I know he's not worried about it. I'm not worried about him…The media & people are killing him. New situation…what 18 games?…All the BS about what we gave up means nothing. If we win a championship ain't nobody give a damn how many picks we gave up. We can give up 15 picks, it don't matter. At the end of the day we're trying to win a championship, he's gonna be a key piece of that, and we need to continue to build him up. If you go out there & nitpick everything he does, that's only detriment to him. We're all gonna have a conversation with that, we gotta get him going, that's when we get the best version of Kal. It's 18 games…he's a helluva player, he's been to the Finals, he knows how to win. So we can calm down with all the criticism & nitpicking a guy who's won every time he's stepped on the court in any situation. A lot of people can't do what he does.

Give. It. Time.

It doesn't guarantee he will adjust but given his track record I believe he will or Thibs will have to make things easier on him and adjust himself.

I like that McBride took his 4th quarter minutes. McBride is a player and right now offers more than a struggling Bridges does. Reduce his role let him get comfortable and then gradually increase it again.

It's like he got the bag instead of being in a prove-it contract year.... Knicks are kind of obligated to pay him what he wants more/less though due to how much they gave up for him though.

It could be the worst trade in Knicks franchise history, which is a remarkable achievement.

The risks are far more significant than any trade made by Isiah Thomas, Steve Mills or Phil Jackson. We're legitimately in Billy King territory.

The hope is that he somewhat gets it together and the Knicks remain competitive in the next 5 years (not a given) so that the trade doesn't turn into a complete embarrassment.

We played ourselves.

I told these mfs mikal was never worth that heavy price. Gave up 5 picks for glorified cleanthony early.

Jae Crowder is on his 9th NBA team and has hit 3/8 threes and took 6 free throws the other night

I’m starting to think Mikal might have knee issues. With his form he barely needs to jump on his shots. It could explain why he shoots better from corner 3 and mid range. Less lift is required on those shots. It could explain why he can’t play defense like he use to and changed his form to compensate for his tired legs. If you play ball with tired legs you know what I’m talking about.

Have Bridges play the RJ Barrett role of last year. Start him a couple minutes but then take him out and let him run with the bench mainly. Play McBride more with the starters. This is kinda the Barrett/Quickley situation all over again. If he plays with the bench more he csn iso more and do get into his bag more. The turnaround and fadeaway jumper has been money for him. Let him do it with the bench. McBride conversely is more ruggedly built and has a very high ranking in ball screen navigation and is a strong defender. At the moment, he fits so much better with the starters than Bridges does.

A knee issue would have nothing to do with changing the mechanics and set point on his shot. The simplest answer is correct, he fixed something that didn't need to be fixed and broke his shot in the process. There was no need to change his form, and he did, now he can't shoot, it's that simple.
