Anxiously awaiting his return. Seeing Thibs use the bench early tonight really gave me some hope that the bench will come together and, Mitch will definitely get minutes once he returns.

The deadline is 12 days away. Mitch is on the horizon. The team didn't spiral to far after that win streak went south. We can still improve as a team and make some serious noise in the back end of this season and in the playoffs.

My hope is that their cardio gets stronger. I don't think teams practice the way they use to. Of course, the "Thibs minutes"
has an effect- but I sense they're not in optimum shape yet- could be wrong, just a feeling...

There are 4 teams in the nba with more wins than us. Those teams have 36-36-32 and 31 wins. I knew our team would have a top record- even without Mitch but I didnt think we'd be 2 games out of 3rd place and 6 out of first. Mitch will have an effect- the degree, I can't call but I wouldn't be surprised if it propels us...

Kat probably wanted stat pad with a field goal to get all starters with 20+ points.

What’s crazy is Hart and Thibs mentioned the days off further proving the point.

I'm totally cool with him giving guys practice days off...he better with the way they play the games. But if anything this game was a perfect example of why you want to have fresh legs with this team. The energy level...I didn't see short shots.

More reason to better manage the minutes and keep guys away from 40 mins especially when you don't have the luxury off 3 days in between a game.

It's not even worth the keystrokes anymore. People will defend every thing he does. Usually with strawman arguments or flat out lies. Blinders on. Trying to make slick ass remarks even when the HC did the most MORONIC thing possible. Putting an ALREADY INJURED ALL STAR/MVP player back in a 21 pt blow out with 3 minutes left!! Only to watch him get fouled and fly into the crowd thirty seconds later! WTF?!?! INEXCUSABLE!

Whatever. Good to see us handle business against a hot team with an over .500 record. We looked well rested and Thibs used the bench early. I applaud that effort to expand the rotation. It's really not much to ask but, here we are clapping for the HC to use he players he has. Look. It worked. AGAIN! Maybe he starts working this out now. I just want to be healthy for the playoffs and not have guys running on fumes and dropping like flies,

I agree people turn a blind eye for wins. He did get better with sub patterns. Still does not situational sub and has many flaws. It’s frowned upon to point out things only for people to bring it up during bad times. Pointing out team looked solid after some days off shows to play the damn bench more consistently which he has done during this winning streak. Still many things to do better. Rotation expanding is a start.

I have no issues tonight. The mins, ball movement and rotations were all good. Hopefully this is a turning point for Thibs and he doesn’t fall back in old habits.

Honestly, I think it's rad that KAT isn't looking for any reason to sit. He wants to play.

good win. offense was firing on all cylinders. Hart, OG, Brunson, Mikal were all BIG time. Shamet and Achiuwa really solid off the bench. I am a little worried that the thumb injury might affect KATs shooting tho.

What’s concerning to me is KAT’s 3 point shooting being affected by the injury. 0-1 from 3.
Is it better to rest him now and risk losing a few games to get him right? I want that 3 fixed for the playoffs.

Many positives in the game.

40 assists, 52 FG made, ball rarely sticking, great FT shooting.

Two players with double figure assists.

OG looked like a completely refreshed player.

The guys seem to be learning each other’s habits well,

Sac looked pretty bad tbh. Fox must’ve been out partying the night before. Derozan was basically invisible. They had many plays where they didn’t have a clue on D. Hopefully we caused a lot of this rough play through our cohesion.

Thibs deserves plenty of credit for the stellar ball movement. We are seeing a few glimmers of the rotation growing a little bit.

Thibs obviously wanted to see Landry improve in practice - WE TALKING ABOUY PRACTICE??? - before giving him more responsibility. It just took him (and Deuce) a little time to get their game legs back. I thought Shamet had good energy in the game. Now bring up Okeke.

I have KAT on my fantasy team so I wasn't upset about him getting some extra run but in general that **** was stupid. Thibs needs to chill on that. Good win. Hart is a monster. OG back to being a plus on offense is much needed. Mikal was chilling till the 4th but he cooked late. KAT struggled offensively but he got a good chunk of rebounds. Brunson showed flashes of all star brilliance.

Precious looked great in his minutes. I'm still a supporter of starting him once Mitch is back. I think he works next to KAT as 4. Maybe with some staggered lineups including Deuce at the 2. Would allow us to stagger the Wings and make the minutes distribution better for OG and Mikal. Mitch as the backup C giving 18-20 min a night would be a game changer for this squad.

Shamet hit big 3s in the first half. If he can do that consistently then I feel like he might be the one to expand this rotation.

Thibs always leaves our starters in after the other team has waved the white flag. That’s when he steps over the line.

I like Rob Perez’s sober takes on the Knicks. He does a nice job from the few clips of his I’ve seen.

whatever thibs is doing now just proves the point that the mp squad is right all along

...and its for their own (the players') sake and not anybody else, anyway. I mean, who the heck can perform well even if they dont have the legs anymore and are gassing

I called for Tom to be fired last night. I apologize. I'm just really frustrated with how he's handling things but no, he should not be fired. But what he did last night should have the front office on alert.
