They waited a long while for Jokic and Murray to re-enter in the second quarter.

Knicks have scored a franchise record 408 points in a three game span? :o

He's just as strong. Jokic can't get to his spots low and it rattles him.

I think that's part of his issue with fouling. Like Shaq, he's just stronger than everyone. It's not as much of an issue with Jokic because it's two titans battling.

he looked exhausted...my one knock on the Joker- get in shape...Could you imagine a chiseled Joker Cap? :o

He'd be KAT.

Buzz is the voice of reason.

He is trying to keep us grounded cause it's a long season of highs and lows and he knows the real prize is in the postseason.

We're all happy that he finally made the adjustments that we've been screaming about for months. Why would we want him to fail, we would just love if he could make quicker adjustments and get out his own way at times.

As i said the previous game thread, is what many criticized him for imo was done intentionally for 2 reasons, first which was an organization decision to play starters heavy minutes early on to speed up the gelling process and second deuce and precious were not 100%. So put this all together means in january this team is beginning to click on all cylinders

He did that one year and he wasn't as good. It's hard to explain besides that this is his best playing weight and KAT is his kryptonite.

Since the last championship in '73, the Knicks have rarely been the favorite deep into any playoff series they've survived - other teams were almost always just legitimately better. So, even when they were leading games in those series (classic example of this is the Jordan Bulls) there was always the subconscious, ominous dread lurking that the talent discrepancies would eventually catch up.

While the dread still resides at a molecular level in my cells simply because I'm a fan of this franchise, it's no longer because the other team is simply better. In 2025 the New York Knicks are trotting out established NBA talent that can match or exceed any team in the league in any given night.

We're often watching our favorite team win simply because they're better at basketball than their opponent. They're not prevailing by getting on a heater, coaching, or outworking/outhustling, though all of those things can happen. They're just more talented and better at basketball.

Maybe the first time I've said this earnestly, but man - what a time to be alive.

Sure. It seems to be working well right now.

We have Sims and huk too

Guano, thibs aint playing sims or huk, we still need a backup big for the playoffs, enter Mitch

We need to get og and jhart to the playoffs healthy.

And og playing 40mins a night and the most mins of his career isn't going to cut it.

Prolly more important that a backup big who can't stay healthy and might be a shell cause of all his injuries.

It’s been 31 years of watching the Knicks. This isn’t just a way of life. It’s a religion. For the first time, this team has the most talent on the floor compared to other teams. Do we still have deficiencies? Do we still have things we can fix? Yes, but for the first time, I truly feel like the talent on the floor can overcome any shortcomings, and that includes needs on the bench, and sometimes the shortcoming of the coach.

This is the most talented Knick team I have watched in over 30 years of ball, easily.

Brunson is talking in the locker room and expanded on the chemistry...went as far as asking the reporter how any games have they played so far...I will get the quotes when I can...
