We wouldn't worry if we weren't 0-7 against the top 3 contenders in blow out losses.

I said it before and I'll say it again: we might never see those top 3 contenders in the playoffs. So, fans worrying about them now is futile.

You don't think we'll run into the Cavs or Celtics in the playoffs?

Without Towns this is the lowest points(105) we have held an opponent since January 21 vs the Nets.

On the other side the offense is exposed without Towns; only Brunson is reliable. Mikal is too streaky. Hart, Deuce and OG can range from good to terrible. They are not in the same class as the top three teams.

Looks like Quentikina only played 21 mins with an empty stat line while Justin Edwards off the bench played 28 minutes. Very happy for Justin. Jerry West is the worst.

It’s why the Knicks his Deuce until they’d made sure other teams wanted Grimes. I’d take Deuce any day over Grimes

We can fix Grimes. Bring him home

Anyone praising and defending Thibs half-azzed coaching just wants to see the team fail so they can push agendas.

i don't think thibs is a half-assed coach. he's among the elite. we were a very competitive team last year. our new roster has way more pu$sy energy and it's clearly not a fit. so we either need to make trades or replace the coach, i won't blame either side for the mismatch but it's not gelling together

The fit? The highest scoring starting 5 in Knicks history has pu$$y energy? The best start in 28 years and the most wins at the ASB in 51 years isn't gelling? It's not the coach. It's the players.

The bench is used less than any bench in the league in the last 20 years. The team seems to ignore the 3pt shot on both ends of the floor. Drop coverage and paint protection at all costs. Can't make adjustments for anything. No real offensive system to talk about. The list is endless.

It's not the coach. The players just don't fit together. Yeah. Ok.

Last year? We had 6 different lineups last year. Why do people keep acting like last year was some amazing team? Brunson/DDV/Hart/Precious/Shart/Deuce. That was last year's core. We had one month of a great run with OG/Randle. Then we patched together a 7.5 man rotation out of scraps for months.

Waiting to see Mitch back. We can see what it all should look like then. Such a great HC that we have to wait until March to see what we should look like.

Brunson/Payne
Mikal/Deuce
OG/Hart
KAT/Precious
Mitch/(KAT/Precious)

That's what we're waiting to see. Hopefully that's the miracle cure to all of our flaws. I wonder why we waited until March to try it out. The players must be the problem.

1. yes. mikal has been bringing aloof, pu$sy energy all year and there isn't anybody particularly tough besides hart in the lineup to balance that out. can't wait for mitch to get back
2. i'm not saying it was an amazing roster. i'm saying it was a competitive team that embodied the spirit of the coach. this year we have a superior roster in terms of pure scoring talent but way less competitive and tough and they do nothing to win when the shots aren't going down

If we're going to talk about "PUSSY ENERGY" (I love this term), I think of defense first. On that side of the court, it's Towns who is ranked No. 1 imo.

first of all glad to see pussy isn't censored here  second of all, i agree that kat is a sieve but he shows effort and grit even by committing his stupid fouls. i like mikal's archetype a lot. i just wanna see fire from him

It’s funny cause I said this shot reminded me of April Melo. And here’s Melo orchestrating the shot

Thibs’ fault. Too many minutes-averaging 8.7 minutes a game.

I don’t know about wake-up call, more like reality check. But with that said, I’m not down on this squad and idea. It’s only their first few months together and they’re an incredible fit on paper.
