Normally, he'd be in the paint with every intention of shooting, but tonight he committed to luring the defense towards him to create space for his teammates.

Agreed. It always felt like even when he over dribbled he was just trying to draw a crowd and find an open teammate rather than him trying to score.

Nah it was the right call, Brunson didn't establish front court possession and had momentum towards the backcourt come on Rob learn the rules broski.

Kind of dumb, just no flexibility

Definitely intentional. They got the memo to spread the touches around. That's what we need from him. He still gets to be Mr. Clutch at the end of the game.

The result is we had more good looks and open lanes to go inside.

It’s so obvious (and unfortunate) what his injuries have done to him. It’s his ability to recovery mid-play and his timing that is not nearly the same as it used to be. The Mitch we saw vs the Cavs would be able to alter a shot and re-position himself to snatch boards in traffic. He’s constantly finding himself in precarious spots. His balance is as poor as it’s ever been. Legitimately not his fault he’s just not the same guy

Since when did the league make it that someone has to touch the ball on a missed free throw to start the clock?

I always thought the moment the ball hits the rim the clock starts. Were the refs saying the ball didn't touch the rim on the second free throw?

Meanwhile Thunder down damn 30 to a team that didn’t look like they should be on the floor with anyone the last two games. I don’t get the $hittin on playoff wins.

Yeah, he's just slow right now and that affects everything.

Mitch has had some “Mitch” moments this series but not consistently. He wasn’t great tonight. He can be better and I think he will be better. I still trust him over Precious.

He rarely had good position. He was not trying that hard. He sucked.

I really really don’t want to call for Precious to play over him but Paul Reed might be too mobile for him to handle
