they blew and unblowable game in game 1

at the time you don't want to admit but you can't overcome that especially in a relatively evenish matched series.

Great swan song for the year. We've kinda seen this all playoffs though and it's pretty typical for a deep series. The hit and then the counter. Especially in a home/away scenario. Counter tonight was to bother Towns on the dribble so he couldn't get those bounding drives off that they couldn't stop in single coverage. It may have cost them two players but it won them the game. They trapped the **** out of JB too and it was sad we didn't find a way to rotate some shooters or Hart or Bridges to elongate the play into their path of vision when it happen.

Sucked to see them go out like that and as you say, it's clear running it back isn't an option because something isn't quite clicking with this group.

Yeah. And their chit-talking from last year clearly got to our heads. It was obvious instead of playing smart and protecting the lead in game 1, our team was desperately trying to land a knockout punch to get even. I feel like the won the mental game too.

Still proud of the guys. Hopefully next year Thibs will learn to trust the bench more and give them adequate burn throughout the season so they develop properly. We had a few guys banged up in OG and KAT. If they were fresh it might have made a difference. No chance Leon cans Thibs so hoping he learned a lesson.

Brunson played maybe the worst game I’ve ever seen from him. He shares this loss big time.

KAT was a soft loser as expected.

Hart was disgraceful.

That’s not a good season for me.

Team needs major changes. Major. End of story. I don’t want to hear about moral victories. You’re either a winner or a loser. We are a loser - and a loser who has been clowned by the same team two years in a row.

This wasn't the same team as last year, healthy or not.

Yup. Indy wasn't that good last year. They're really good this year, so . . . very different series. Last year we were clearly the better team. We were just really banged up. This year, hate to say it, but they were the better team.

It's hyperbolic for me to say they're the better team. They won Game 1 on an unfathomable collapse and a lucky bounce. The won their games because they exploited something a better coach might have been able to adjust to. I don't think a chemistry fixes communication break downs is going on.

I've seen enough of Kat and Hart to be honest. Desperately need a coaching change. Game 1 was an all time choke job that they couldn't get over, but honestly they were a mediocre team since January. I think Bridges can figure it out with us, Kat is what he is and hopefully that is a Milwaukee Buck next season

How many points did he give up?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Was a nice ride but the teams flaws are what they are. We saw them all regular season and throughout the playoffs. The Celtics series was amazing they were able to win but realistically the team over achieved. The annoying part is the pacers are good but not that good. They're very beatable if you just take care of the ball and don't give up easy transition.

Too early and too emotional to talk about the off-season but I'm definitely against the idea of running this back. Brunson and Kat don't fit and especially not with this coach.

because your likely never going to be as healthy...and have the pathway this year.

you have to take every advantage and we fell short.

I also don't see the FO making the necessary changes to win a championship....and yes the coach is part of the issue. Not the only issue but certainly part of it.

It was a golden opportunity. Make it to the finals and you never know what could happen. Hopefully just gotta come back stronger next year. We need to get better but if we hit on a few moves we can get there.

Thibs upgraded to Dan Hurley or Jay Wright
Extend Mikal and Mitch
Sign Wright and Shamet to 1yr deals
Sign Chris Paul to 1yr Tax MLE
Trade KAT and Hart

That’s what I’d like to see.

Return to New York Knicks
