I agree with you on the shots, but picking out one bad play and ignoring the other subtleties he does for the team is unfair. I know he's everyone's whipping boy but I give credit where it's due.

The reason San Antonio got rid of him was because he played out of his role. On offense many times he won't pass up the ball; he would rather take a jump shot or get blocked after his 100th head fake...

Malik is a decent player on a competing team. He should not be in the rebuilding Knick's rotation.
