They were the few along with Amare that actually had a good game. Mozgov was +8 and Fields +15, the only two with a positive contribution. Whats the point in starting them if they are only play bench scrub minutes. Chandler and Douglas had awful games yet both played considerably more minutes. I think Dantoni is starting the rookies to hide the fact that he doesnt like to play them.

Fields deserved to be benched for those two horrible fouls but he should have been in the game at the end instead of Chandler. I understand playing Turiaf over Moz in the 4th even if it didn't work.

Defense was bad early but it was the offense that collapsed down the stretch, just like the Portland game. They looked clueless in the half court sets.

Not even really mad at this loss, more so embarrassed.

Oh well, on to Milwaukee. Hopefully Corey Maggette doesn't go off.
The Knicks are back.

Some have bought so much into D'Antoni and his gimmicky system it makes me laugh. We give up almost 110 points at home against a **** Sixer team that shoots 47-48%, we give up wide open jumpshots throughout and all you can come up with is : we didn't hit our 3 pointers?SMH.

If you are playing such a team at home you don't give up more then 95points period. More importantly you don't let them shoot more than 42%. All of Turner'd shot were wide open, all shots by Holiday were wide open,Hawes had some open shots he missed, Williams had a bunch of open shots. On the other hand we have guys shooting contested three pointer.

Why?Because Philly defended well all over the court while we played D'Antoni defense.

The sixers were on today, and we couldnt buy a 3pointer.. some days are off days and these were one of them, we showed effort, but they were on there game today.

pretty sure antoni doesn't preach going under screens on shooters and biting on pump fakes

Thank you.

This has been proven in every loss that I've seen this year. I think this facet falls on the coach.I mean to me his plays in the half court revolves around high picks to get open J's. Well when the J's aren't falling, then we need to adjust and go to a set that focuses on going toward the rim if not posting up.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I am tired of seeing floaters. Go up strong and try to get that foul. Just how Lrue did against Turiaf down the stretch.

i think amare shouldn't have been paid 100 mil
i think amare was overrated by us knick fans

I think you need to stop b****ing. It's one game. Relax

I actually agree with the guy on all points regarding Amare. For 100mil, his game has got to be on point everytime he hits the floor. I never agreed with paying him that much. I think it was ultimately a last ditch effort to make the summer seem like it achieved what it should have. Amare is not worth that type of money....point blank, too many holes in his game.

we must have been watching a different game, to me it seemed like the team made no effort closing out or fighting through screens

why??

Not a good game from Chandler. He had his chances he didn't convert. It would have been nice if he could have got the whistle on a couple plays but gotta call it like it is. Easily his worst game of the season.

no, no ... he takes 4.8 three pointers on the year and hits them 29% of the time

why is a bad 3pt shooter, shooting so many threes??

Gotta look at coaching. But when you have games like Bulls game where we shoot lights out it puffs our coaches head up to Oblivion thinking we can get busy like this every game. We got reality checked today as I knew would happen eventually. We chucked 20 3pt shots and only hit like 3 of them, not only from Chandler but also from an injured back Felton. Why is a player with an injured back chucking them down the stretch?

This is true! There's so much season left that people should conserve their energy/ emotions after each loss/win......

No need to talk as if the sky is falling.....we just move onto the next game and hope for a win
