Woodson coming out and saying they'd match the other day means they were obviously planning on doing so.. Whether they don't believe this new deal is worth it for Lin, or they felt betrayed or w/e.. Things likely changed since then.

Darren Rovell is an ESPN idiot. You should read this article in the NYT on why financially it is much better to bring him back.
