if you add together all the players on this teams win shares from last year you get 32 wins. That total doesn’t include the rookies. Last season Luka had the highest rookie win shares and his was 4.2. I mean I hope RJ ends up being that good but that only puts our win total to 36 games. I just can’t see this teams ceiling being any higher than that.

My biggest fear is they're on pace for 30 something wins but close enough to the playoffs at the trade deadline that they do something dumb...and we all get deja vu

probably not. but surprises happen, or they wouldn't have a word for it.

I don't think enough people have really looked at the schedule this year. We'll probably have 38 loses before we get to even 10 wins. December and January are absolutely brutal.

It's possible for the Knicks to reach the playoffs. But it's gonna be based on the progression of our young players and Fiz's coaching. It's amazing how Fiz continues to be praised among coaches and players in this league (was just reading about what Coach K said about him). So I'm just going to go with the mindset that Fiz was intentionally tanking last season and will give him a clean slate this season. Time to see if he is a real coach.

Not only that, he looks afraid without any self-esteem.
