I personally think Leon Rose will trade our pick along with players for a disgruntled star. Embiid, etc.

I think that trade makes sense for both sides.

But man clippers ended up trading there entire future for Westbrick and Covington...not a good look.

But Westbrook probably would play off Kawhi better and covington is a nice piece for the clippers as well. There is no doubt P13 and Harden fits better than Harden and Westbrook

We can sign other stars because we would have used 40% of our cap to ger the WB contract.

To make things worse. He is totally incompatible with the remaining players. We have shooting issues. It makes no sense being an awful shooter with high usage to our core. I cant see a pathway to victory on a WB/Frank/RJ/Mitch team.

We will be obligated to trade at least Frank and RJ to have a shot.

No way. Not for him. If he does, then we are back to the Isiah Thomas days. What I should've said is that he will trade our picks for a disgruntled younger star.

Thibs isn't here for a 5 year rebuild. Rose will make moves no one expects. Seems like there are zero leaks from his admin so far.

Ayton is one of the best big men defenders in the league. Rubio plays D. Cam Johnson even surprised me on defense too.

let's say he stays healthy and can produce like this for the next few years, my question is what is the plan after you get him ? that huge contract makes it impossible to sign anyone to play with him. so it's just gonna be the russ show for 3 years ? or trade away almost everything else to get him a partner ?

I don't know if i agree here (except for Rubio). But anyway... then you have 3 teams where he would fit. he is really difficult to move
