well he's going to be an issue then if he's not getting the shots he thinks he deserves.

randle came here to be the #1, but that was the previous regime's promise.

I think a good point guard (a la CP3) would have maximized Randles effectiveness but since that’s not an option, he’s gonna have to accept the role he’s given next year.

Starting to warm up to the idea of Frank/Quickly/RJ at the 1-3, with DSJr and Powell coming off the bench.

And not opposed to Quickly and Powell seeing a decent amount of minutes with RJ. Decision making at 3 positions can be shared, at least two of them can shoot now, maybe RJ takes a step with his jumper.

With Obi here I do prefer that we move him but it’s likely that Randle is going to have a prominent role on this team. Thibs loves his vets.

They'll play the youth and be in the mix for a high pick. Then they'll need some luck.

it's definitely a concern. you can make the argument that if this was the plan, they should've gone PG in the draft b/c the 2021 draft is loaded w/ wings/forwards but not PG's

1) Quickley has PG skills. He WAS a PG until he ended up on a PG loaded team so he sacrificed his position to help the team and to get minutes. He STILL won honors doing so.

2) FA started less than 24 hours ago.

10 days until camp. Who knows what they do at PG? Calling strikeouts after one pitch is funny. This board has been dead for 10 months. 20 hours into FA and we haven't done enough. LOL

from the Kentucky games I watched, I didn't think Quickley was a true-PG: handle is solid/not great tho, I didn't see a great/accurate passer (maybe he gets better when focused more on-ball), and he didn't finish well in the paint. he is however a very good defender and a great shooter. Hagans clearly was the true-PG of the bunch. Quickley and Maxey are more combo's

I think he's the type of PG that complements another primary ball-handler, but not someone you want pounding the rock 75% of the time

What FA's PG's are available? after FVV the drop-off was big. Teague is probably the best available now. not advocating they should've signed FVV (I didn't want to, I'm more team tank), but PG is still a concern

Well...the point is...we drafted a combo guard who won awards...FA is only 1 day old. Anyone who thought we were getting any top tier FAs this year are fooling themselves. What PG should we have gotten? What PG COULD we have gotten?

Why are we clamoring for players we can't even get? No one is coming here until we start winning on our own.

How is it dumb anymore when Hayward at 30 and a SF just signed for 4 years and 30 million per? When FVV is making 25 mill per..they aren’t trading for him and people will get their wish and continue to be one of the worst teams in the sport, but looking at deals some of these free agents got especially if it’s basically a salary dump doesn’t look so dumb
