So Durant to MIL, Giannis to us, Hart + salary fillers to the Suns. I'm just a little concerned that Phoenix won't sign off on this without a little physical coercion.

No way MIL takes on Durant. Makes zero sense for them. Instead, Durant should be routed to a team that actually wants him now (ie MIN or HOU) and then the assets returned from those teams goes to MIL.

Somehow, MIL will want NOP in any Giannis trade so they can get their picks back and tank properly (I would think).

I wouldn't trade our two best defensive players for Durant. KAT for Durant I would be down for because it improves our offense and defense. For that I would be fine with Durant's age. But trading 2 very strong defenders and one of them one of the premier 3-d guys in the league, would be taking a step back. Durant and KAT upfront would be getting shredded on defense:

is a line-up that can be top 8 defensively AND offensively. A KAT/Durant frontcourt with JB in the backcourt would have us outside the top 15, possibly top 20 defensively. I wouldn't trade our two best defensive players for Durant. KAT for Durant I would be down for because it improves our offense and defense. For that I would be fine with Durant's age. But trading 2 very strong defenders and one of them one of the premier 3-d guys in the league, would be taking a step back. Durant and KAT upfront would be getting shredded on defense:

Because Phoenix is in the 2nd apron, they can only trade Durant by himself. They're not allowed to aggregate contracts (such as adding Nick Richards) according to Spotrac

What you gain is more than you lose. Bridges and Mitch only have 1 year left on their contracts. . KD brings the gravity of one of the greatest shooters in the NBA even at his age and the 5 out offense would be absolutely ridiculous.

There is no way the Jazz would trade Kessler for McBride....Kessler is worth at least 2 FRPs....maybe more...

If KD interest is true, I doubt its for giving up KAT. The most logical is Mitch, Bridges, Hart. And the salaries add up extremely close where you bring in a 3rd team for a simple balance to satisfy the cba.
