- This cancels out the Bulls win. So we're. 500 and start over now.

- Gallo was pretty good, Douglas was hot until he got foul problems and came back cold.

- Bad reffing. Really bad reffing. See Douglas.

- Mozgov was good (should have played more).

- Sixers were desperate and shot really well.

Also I thought Randolph showed some good signs.

He's not this good but he's definitely one of the better points of his draft class

You obviously dont know much about him.
Last 3 games -
14pts 13 ast 3 rebs
11pts 4 rebs 5 ast 4 stl
29 pts 2 rebs 8 ast

He is a legend on the west coast. He is also only 20 yrs old.

hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard

Who were you checking here? If I said he's one of the better points of his draft class then that's saying something.

It's a bad loss, first of the year, but I think we'll be pleased with this team in the long run: I love how Fields plays, Gallo has his stroke back, and on most nights we'll play good defense.

He isn't the only one to be fair... although his posts are pretty negative.

People here have to understand that this was only our 6th game. This team will struggle some nights, and be great other nights, ESPECIALLY in the early part of the season. What's even funnier is that many here expected this from the Knicks during the beginning of the season, and are acting surprised by losses like this. This team will pick it up as time goes one. We ARE a playoff team.

Exactly.

As time goes on... ugly losses like this won't be as common.

2009/10 Knicks+ rim protection = 2011 Knicks

To me it is astonishing how superficially most look at the game. Philly had a clear defensive game plan. Don't give Gallinari any room to shoot (which was executed almost perfectly--just one time they didn't close out on him and he hit that late 3). Other than that Gallo didn't have any real open looks (one time he penetrated and pulled up). Then they let chandler take open 3s. They didn't give Douglas any real open threes. Good defensive game plan, good execution.

We on the other side left everybody open to shoot at will.

Don't mean to make excuses, but it doesn't help when your guards are strapped with cheap fouls and also having Felton hobbling around on what seems to be a bad back. He wasn't going to the hole as strong as usual.

Calm down knicks fans I think the sixers won this game only because of Karma. Too much **** talking in the beginning saying this game was easy and that the sixers were trash. Oh and the sixers are a younger team than the knicks.

Sixers are definitely a trash team. There is no way they win more than 25-28 games.

Doug Collins is a really good coach though and the sixers have been improving each game they play. If they get a legit big man that can block shots they make the playoffs easy.

I'd be surprised if the Sixers are in the top 11 in the east, let alone making the playoffs. They are currently among the 6 worst teams in the league. They have the worst frontcourt in the league and their backcourt is mediocre at best.

New York lost this game not because of Tonie D. Tonie D is trying to find his niche and though he made a defensive lapse that's not what lost the game. It was transition d and above all they got to pass the rock to Amare when he's open. This is a young team with young legs so there's no excuse for them to let true holiday and lou williams look like allen iverson in his prime.
