Lol. Lets round up all the homers and have a big party before Lin stinks it up again.

Quick - somebody get Bill Bradley on the phone.

:lol: :lol: :lol: @ all the dudes in here a few pages back talkin about the Lakers were playing "championship level basketball" just because they strung together a few wins, one of which was a fluke win against OKC because Russ shot 5-20, otherwise they lose that game.

you are what your record says you are. LA is COOKED.

I thought he'd made that abundantly clear after his consistent baiting in this and other threads since we didn't resign Lin.

In other news, the Heat completely clowned the Nets tonight. The Nets talk so much **** and LeBron shut them all the **** up. I'm so glad we got 2 wins over the Heat. It gives us that edge. I guarantee the Nets start sucking ass now. They're not good.

James said earlier Wednesday that he isn't too impressed by the Nets despite their recent turnaround under interim coach P.J. Carlesimo.

"(The Nets) just picked up the intensity level," James said. "You can tell that they like to play for P.J. ... It sucks that Avery (Johnson) had to take the hit of them not wanting to play at a high level."

LBJ has picked up every aspect of his game, including his trash talk. That's championship level smack right there :lol:

Gallinari's having a nice year.

Nate Robinson really seems to have found a role. I thought he'd be out of the league by now, but it seems as if he's going to stick.

Chicago remains impressive. They just easily beat Milwaukee without Rose AND Boozer. I hate to admit it but I'm getting the feeling that a healthy Chicago team would beat us pretty easily in the playoffs. Not a sweep but 4-1 or 4-2 at most.

Looking at Miami and Chicago I get more and more the feeling that the only way to seriously threaten them is through a trade unfortunately. I don't think we are close to their level.....and NO I'm not a doom and gloom guy. It's just the feeling you get through the season. It's almost absurd how every team shoots 50% against us......does anybody still believe "we'll just pick it up" at some point and shut opponents down?Because that's what Chicago is doing pretty much night in and night out.

As much as I PERSONALLY like Anthony and Stat and their offensive game, as much I like Felton's pride and swagger and Shumpert and everything.....it's getting to the point where I've resigned to the fact that this team ain't build to take down Miami or Chicago in the playoffs.

Jennings will most likely play and break Kobe Bryant's scoring record of 61 points against the Knicks.

I personally think Chicago will initially be worse when Rose comes back this season. Right now Chicago plays really unselfish basketball, almost no iso plays at all. Noah has become a ridiculous passer, almost all their shots are open jumpers or layups. Rose is a super high usage player, they will have to adjust to the new playstyle, at least initially.

Neither are all the fanatical haters who will do everything to deny the fact that Gallo has been playing well and leading his team to Ws.

@SI_ChrisBallard

Heard from one source that last season D'Antoni would call a play for Melo and then Lin wouldn't run it. I asked Melo about this...

Intredasting...
