Haliburton and Terry both aren't drivers it was never going to work together with the both of them.

I know some of ya'll ain't laughing at my deals, especially when I kept my mouth shut for some of these deals over the past months...

I keep losing out on WCJr and would have paid up too. God damn.

I'm guessing SOUL wanted a piece of FA (maybe a sign and trade involved later?)

seems like SOUL gave up a lot to get WCJ from me to just trun around and end up with Zubac?

I originally **** up taking Dwight from you (haha) which made me had to give a few more assets than I wanted overall to get FA space I desperately wanted.

But I'm looking at two things with WCJ and Zubac. I loved WCJ but he was a little redundant with Isaac on the roster already (who I liked more without injuries). The appeal for WCJ for me was that he was so young and I think he will be really good sort of Horford-lite player, but I like Zubac's skills just as much. Think he can be a Gasol or Gasol-lite on Memphis sort of guy. The hit on years sucks (5 vs 2) but Zubac is still young (23 vs 21 for WCJ). Also Zubac is insanely productive in the minutes he gets, and I think Harrell is leaving the Clippers this offseason and I'm assuming Zubac will get a bump in minutes, because he deserves way more than he had gotten. If he had 9 more minutes a game like WCJ got, I think he could average like 14/11 or something.



Also advanced stats Zubac was WAY better and had more impact with the same usage. WCJ is young though so impact on a bad Bulls team isn't really a good thing to measure. He will be great for NewEra and that contract is a **** steal, but I'm actually really happy with Zubac and also getting $80 in a free agency that a lot of teams are bowing out of. So for me, Zubac + good free agent of any position I choose was going to be more useful for me than WCJ + Nance, especially if I re-sign Brook and have Isaac already on the roster.

You making it sound like you are going to be competing for something next year. Plus you drafted a beast center and had an incredibly ideal PG to pair him with. Haliburton as a bench piece would have been perfect. Terry in year 1 in the SIM wasn't going to stop you from tanking for Cade or Green next year. Definitely would have waited to see how Terry looks irl before moving him. I loved the 1/5 combo with him and Wiseman but we will see. I think you got caught overthinking and planning too far ahead.
