The biggest shocker to me was the Nets at 22. They're 1-10 in their last 11 at this point and have a 7 game losing streak. Portland has dropped 5 straight too so it's not looking too good for my boy Smash I might have to hit the DMs.

Only because there's a 12-5 team just under that they still don't want to push in front of teams we've beaten 4-0 vs 1-7 teams.

I had Nets very low. Their initial run surprised me more than their fall.

Margin of victory is huge in power rankings. Y'all average 116.7 PPG and allow 112.9 PPG if we exclude the New Orleans game (I haven't put those numbers in yet) for a +3.8 MOV. Golden State has also beat nearly all the teams they've lost to also. I think the only teams they lost to they haven't beat are you, MPH, and hoffa. You've beat all the top 3 teams (you're the only person who has done it) but 3 of your losses were blowouts and you've lost to some meh teams and haven't redeemed yourself yet for those losses. Y'all seem like a better playoff team than a regular season one so far anyway. Gobert's defense and SGA's scoring is scary in a 7 game series.

I would guess it's entirely MOV based. We got absolutely waxed by the Jazz twice. But I need my MOTIVATION to silence the mechanized haters.

Also, Re: Magic - agreed in full. Their team is NASTY. Just needs some tweaks.

It's not just MOV or I'd be over Hoffa and Denver would be over Cleveland. It's based a little in strength of schedule too. Maybe they have an SRS under the covers, my SRS calcs are about equal to the results on the power rankings.
