Definitely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I doubt they will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn’t the first stage where you can only deal with your own FAs?

If that is the case I don’t think it would matter. We don’t really have any FA who we have to convince to stay.

Also I am going to be honest the CAA connect might get us through free agency too.

Yeah you’re probably right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No. We can talk to and make deals with our own FAs already. Monday teams can begin talking to all FAs. The following Monday FA actually begins.

If I remember right deals start getting made and announced as soon as next Monday and then become official the next week.

Right. They can start making offers and then details get ironed out by the following Monday. That's when pens can hit paper.

I think we are going to need to update the poll with some new coaches names, and remove Kidd's name :D

I don't think Nori's clowning around the team fits that too well, this team needs someone who is easy going who can motivate players but also can lit them under fire when needed (I think Jenkins does this well) especially if PJ ends up leaving

Why the heck haven't we interviewed Johnny Bryant it's odd

Could there have been any friction between Johnny and the front office when he went to Cleveland? I thought he'd be a candidate for sure

It looks like the New York Knicks have identified a frontrunner for their head coach vacancy.
During ESPN's broadcast of the 2025 NBA Draft second round, Brian Windhorst reported that the Knicks have locked in on Borrego to replace Tom Thibodeau as the head coach.
"You can forget about some of these guys because their teams are refusing to allow the Knicks to interview them," Windhorst said. "Looks like James Borrego, who nearly got the Cavaliers job last year, will be the next coach of the Knicks."

Windhorst didn’t say that. Was watching it live. Whoever put those fake quotes for Windhorst this is a herb.

I heard it and he was tripping over his sentence. He wasn't announcing anything at all. Don't you think shams and the rest of the staff would have jumped all over that discussion?

I thought he just said he was next to be interviewed not the frontrunner. Did I miss something?

He was mumbling stumbling amd bumbling. Probably forgot to finish chewing the Ho Ho he was eating. It would be kinda wild for the Knicks to hire someone they didn't interview yet and for Windy to announce it in passing during the draft. That's just BS social media garbage.
