Anyone else believe both Nuggets and nets are in cahoots trying to rip off the knicks with their fake agreements? They tried to get the Lakers involved too but the lakers wanted no part and denied it immediately.

I am convinced that by the deadline Dolan is going to tell Donnie to pull the trigger. We will get Carmelo on a gutted roster and we'll potentially be a worse team after the trade.

It's either Melo now or Melo never. As much as Melo wants to be with the Knicks he is not give up 50 million dollars. If Gallinari is what they want Gallinari is what they will get if they want Melo.

I will say this ...

I trust Donnie more than myself to know whether we can afford to give up Gallo in the deal. And Dolan should let this be Donnie's decision and Donnie's alone.

I want Melo but to me he is not an absolute no-brainer the way lebron was. You trade or give up anybody for lebron. Melo ... not the same thing.

- I personally would be very against dealing either Mozgov or Fields. No on either.

- I have no problem with dealing Felton for Billups although I think that Denver makes out very nicely in that part of the swap.

- No problem including Randolph or the pick ... and Eddy Curry, well I'd like to keep him but ... just kidding.

- Last but most importantly, I have no problem dealing Wilson OR Gallo but on whether we give up both, that's a perfectly fair 50/50 type call that can go either way and I'm comfortable with it going either way. I think that the "wrestling point" of this deal is whether one or both of those guys is necessary or fair and I trust Donnie and the Knick F.O. more than anyone to make this determination.

As if anybody cares, these are my positions & red lines on the deal right now.

Want Melo sure, but no problem passing if Donnie thinks that it's just too high a price to include Gallo too.
