It's only risky if sperm has passed the urethra within the past 48-72 hrs, because some sperm can stay behind (or stuck?)

And if your really worried about std's, then all I can say is abstinence is nature's condom :p

I've been heavily considering this.

I'm like 6'6 210-215 lbs. I am a skinny guy and trying to gain muscle. I am so stuck on my diet. Anything in particular I should do because of my height?

You should definitely buy one...at least, I highly recommend buying one. If you do buy one, after you workout just mix 2 scoops and drink it (you can add creatine if you want also).

Nothing really changes based on height. I'm 6'5 and the guy who I work out with is like 5'10...same exercises and, as far as I know, we ate pretty much the same stuff. To gain muscle, you need to lift and eat more calories than you burn per day. To figure out roughly how much you should eat check the site that I posted in response to Mecca's post...it has some good information.

Doomsday this Saturday

Have you guys been following this. I'm not really religious, but if the bible states that no man will know when the apocalypse will come, what formula are they basing this from? I actually think this might a really awesome ad campaign for a new JJ Abrams movie in October. Cloverfield 2 confirmed?

Oh yea I forgot about that shyt lol. Their basing this off the formula of scaring people back into church. They know now that church is becoming a ghosttown and think these tactics can get people back in. It's pathetic. And no it's not a ad campaign lol. If it was it would be on television and radio. JJ would make it more legit than these arseholes are.

This is called dying on the vine. lol

Nothing like "Doomsday" threats to get the kiddies off PSN!

The only problem with these people, is if and when you laugh at them in public, they go apesh*t.

It's easy to laugh at this stuff. The nerd in me actually kind of hopes something interesting goes down. But the fact of the matter is that if people took more time to think about the end of times and reflect on their lives, loved ones, and purpose of life; this would be a better world. If this hoopla makes people think about that, I applaud the effort.

Meh. I think it typically has a different function which is to cause people to avoid their responsibilities to this world and focus their efforts on preparing for the beyond...

I seriously wonder how many times the rapture/end times have been predicted in Christian history. This is our first biggie since 2000 but it has happened all the freaking time - though more localized prior to the development of global communication. Many of the contributors to the Bible belonged to sects that believed that the End of the World was imminent within their lifetime and those prophesies were made clear in the Bible and elsewhere. Look how they all turned out... another day comes and we're still here and responsible for preserving the integrity of the world and our relationships within it.

Now, the Mayans... they concern me a little bit more because they don't have as much of a track record of being wrong 8-)

Just kidding. The world's not ending next year either.

Doomsday could be approaching, but it has nothing to do with God or religion.

When the World Bank switches over from the dollar to the Euro, it could bring on a catastrophe the likes of which this country has rarely seen.

Don't fear "Judgment Day."

Fear hyperinflation.

As it turns out, I'm writing a piece that deals with this issue as I type. Here's two relevant examples.

“Now, let me say this, dear brothers and sisters: The time that remains is very short, so husbands should not let marriage be their major concern. Happiness or sadness or wealth should not keep anyone from doing God’s work. Those in frequent contact with the things of this world should make good use of them without becoming attached to them, for this world and all it contains will pass away.” (7 Corinthians 29-31)

“Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with great power and glory And he will send forth his angels to gather together his chosen ones from all over the world – from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven. Now, learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its buds become tender and its leaves begin to sprout, you know without being told that summer is near. Just so, when you see the events I’ve described beginning to happen, you can be sure that his return is very, very near, right at the door. I assure you, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these events have taken place.” (13 Mark 26-30)

Yeah. The Corinthians quote was the EXACT one I was thinking about. Paul thought the Rapture was coming in his lifetime. It's been about 10 years since I studied this stuff though so I appreciate that you were able to bring up the exact passages. Now, the REALLY fun stuff is in the Dead Sea Scrolls and other related texts. There were some real nuts walking around the ancient world, no doubt.

Sucks to be the cavs...first and fourth pick and they won't even get to use them.

As a Christian I believe there will be an end but no one knows the day or the hour. I was watching a piece on this group in my hotel, this SAME guy predicted doomsday in 1998 when it didn't come to pass...he took a second closer look at his calculations. LOL...you'd think something as important as the end of times you'd double check your math.

This reminds me of when Ewing used to vow that the Knicks would win the championship every year.
