Why would they select Wiseman if they weren't trading Mitch (which I agree that aren't trading him) instead of a PG or wing? Wiseman to Knicks is not happening IMHO.

Probably all depends on where they can possibly get Wiseman imo. Like if he just so happened to still be on the board at 8 I think the front office based on reports would find that too tempting to pass on and take him any way.. figure out fit later. But yeah we probably won’t be trading up for him and I doubt he last til 8 any way so....Wiseman being a Knick is a long shot

I'm thinking if the Knicks sweeten the pot by adding that Dallas pick, it's a done deal. #8, 27 and 2021 1st for #1 & Ball. If Ball is that franchise savior- definitely worth it but if he's a bust....

I would prefer to give them the 2023 Dallas pick, but if they insist on 2021 Dallas pick, I would have to lottery protect it. I feel like Dallas will be in a dog fight to make the playoffs next year with GSW coming back to pact, Min and Phx improving and Portland staying healthy all year.

Basically, yes. Apparently NYK has a standing offer of #8 & 27 for #1. Minny wants Mitch but Knicks aren't budging. Supposedly Atl also has a standing offer as well.
