Alright calling out to the moderators now. This thread is starting to get hijacked by anti Trumpers. Make your own politics thread. Some examples in the last 2 days. This is a Donald Trump momentum Thread. If this were a Knicks season thread and fans from other teams came in and bashed non stop, you would ban them. Do the same here.

Now the drought in California doesn't exist.

^ Look at these blowhards trying to spread misinformation about the Don in a Donald Trump Momentum Thread like there wasn't a Forbes article posted a couple posts back about how Donald Trump is right regarding it being a matter of clear mismanaged bureaucratics.

It's a good example of why we need a solid businessman in the big seat and not another lawyer.

I honestly feel sorry for you. The Forbes piece is an op. ed. by a climate change denier. There is zero "proof" referenced in it. The author basically suggests that if water is priced correctly, things will take care of itself. This in no way challenges the truth that California is in the middle of a drought.

I also love that whatever comes out of Trump's mouth is gospel. He said there is no drought. He didn't say that there is a drought but if it were managed better there would be enough water for everyone. He said there is no drought. If you can find one reputable article that also states there is no drought I will leave this thread and never return.

Cr0w - can you answer two questions for me:

1. Do you believe that climate change is real?

2. What would Donald Trump have to say or do to lose you as a supporter?

The GOP could use Trumps failure to reform their party from the inside out after the election but that is up to them if they have any leadership left after this disaster

and as far as all the trump kiddies posting about crushing it in november, delegate math is different than popularity alone. On popularity tho the hatred for trump far exceeds that of hatred for her and when you alienate 90% of hispanic voters and something close to that with black voters and then more than half of women fuqqing hate trump with a passion the delegate math is basically impossible to breach. i fear trump winning but i dont really think it is possible

Despite my history here vis a vis politics, I don't have a dog in this fight. But there's something you may not have realized. Those numbers you're stating may or may not be true but even if they are, that's usually proportionate to the number of those groups who vote democratic anyway.

There's a reason the media is scared, Hillary is damaged goods and Trump despite his buffoonery has a large segment of the voting public behind him because of widespread disillusionment with government.

What his supporters don't realize is he will change NOTHING. Government is way bigger then one person or position, even if it is someone with the hugest ego in the world.

Now another thing people here neglect to mention is that there is often concerted action behind the scenes to prop up one person/tear another down.

All that has to happen is an indictment on the email scandal {unlikely but not impossible} and the race is over. It would take every genius millennial in all their infinite wisdom to register and then actually vote for self avowed socialist Bernie {if he then replaced Hillary} and since millenials can't vote from their smartphones, that won't happen. Even if she's never indicted, there's far from a guarantee she'll win....she's not as sure fire as everyone here thinks.

Does anyone actually think that perhaps the power players want Trump to win?

If your worst fears about him are true....{lack of diplomacy, fiscal and military aggression, etc etc} couldn't that set off a trade war and a real war?

And what does that do for certain entities? {Profit!!!}

Just sayin.
Trust but verify.

lol conspiracy theories.

First you mention he won't be powerful enough to change anything meaningful because the government is bigger than one person then you close by saying you fear a Trump presidency because he will cause massive damage. Which is it?

Talk about flip flopping....

If Trump isn't able to change things it will be because the establishment parties in congress are jamming him up and the next move will be to vote those clowns out as well.

The power players don't want Trump to win. It's been an all out attack by big pockets since the very beginning. Look at people like Jeff Bezos who owns Amazon.com He's been having his news company WashingtonPost slam Trump all day every day.

It is a term used by racist nationalists to described unwanted people of color. This crow guy went overtime declaring how we must deport illegal immigrants and how much he supports trumps wall building and deportation agenda. Every time someone says trump is not promoting fascist agendas i wonder if some of his supporters who seem to hang on to his every word realize what a gestapo agenda it is to fund and build a domestic security force dedicated to hunting down 10 million people, detaining them and interrogating them and then totally blowing apart the court system to process deportations. It would make Guantanomo look like kindergarten. It would be civil war. It would put a target on every non-white who doesn't look african american and you would have rednecks lynching pakistanis. Yeah, mud people is what they call them and crow is one of those with an evil agenda. I call it like i see it

i think most of what you said is a rational and sensible take on what is actually happening or could happen

the fear of trump is not just about if he would get to fulfill the agenda of many of his lame ideas. he is the ugly id of many people given a voice. many americans are sick of politics as usual and that cuts across the board. the problem here is there are many whose only real answer is to blow it all up and they respect trump because he is the anti-solution. he is mace in the eyes of career politicians. many get a kick out of political incorrectness and dont give a damn what horrible decisions a guy like this would produce. not only would his supporters not get real change, they would get a giant black eye for having backed a despicable man who has no identifiably consistent beliefs outside of self-worship

I let fools hang themselves. You have hung yourself many times over. You have no problem calling people idiots so quid pro quo for you

But I do call out LIARS

AND

YOU ARE A LIAR

THAT IS WHY YOU GET CALLED OUT FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING

AND I CAN PROVE IT

It is real easy. It goes like this:

I make a 12 question multiple choice quiz on economics

When you are ready, you have exactly 2 minutes from the time the quiz is posted to post your multiple choice answers

That means when I post it at 12 minutes after 9 you have to reply with your answers by 14 minutes after 9

This is plenty of time for any trained economist to answer the questions I provide. It would be a walk in the park for a real economist

Two minutes is not enuff time for you to google the answers to 12 questions, but it is plenty of time for a trained economist to answer a pop quiz. If you posted your answers more than 2 minutes then we will know you cheated and googled your answers

So you can accept my challenge and prove you are a trained economist and not a liar or you can decline like a coward

Your choice

After watching Trump getting attacked in this way constantly, you kind of learn to just ignore it after a while. These types of people who are like this are simply self destructive so you really don't need to get involved further.

i understand your revulsion. it is a disgusting term and i did not use it without consideration. no i do not throw around such phrases flippantly

just to be perfectly clear if i write either of the following two phrases

the ku klux klan hates blacks
the ku klux klan hates negroes

does either make me any closer to a klansman? no of course not. maybe you find one very offensive but it can be used for effect like i did to make my point and i stand by that

now if i said

I support the rights of negroes

that would actually be pretty twisted

instead of saying blacks or african-americans. even now some hate the word blacks

so the impact of a term is heavily dependent on which pronouns are being used

and i did have the gall to project their pov into that term

yes i accused him of being a racist

the worst you can accuse me of is being insensitive and willing to engage in culturally sensitive terms but i am the one fighting the rise of an ideology that is COMPLETELY RACIST and anyone who supports the build the wall or deport 10 million people agenda is most certainly a racist. for sure. i stand by that

So being a supporter of Trump makes one a racist? How did you draw such a conclusion? Is it because the deportation of illegal immigrants would prevent jobs being taken from citizens and prevent illegals from working without paying income tax? Or is it because Trump isn't politically correct? Political correctness leads towards a downward spiral: look at Sweden. Their political correctness/"progressive" politics have led them to create "gender neutral" pronouns which must be used in school, and have led them to allowing refugees indiscriminantly, something that is causing a lot of issues in Sweden, as well as Germany.

Trump is a racist. A liar. And a failed businessman many times. If he wasn't born into money he would most likely be selling used cars for a living. Or Amway. A simple look into his past will also let you see how he is OK screwing over the little guy for a profit. He us a pyramid scheme king and a fraud on every level.

I find it truly sad that enough people in this country are willing to vote him into office.

But you used a slur to put your feelings out there, he didn't. You call him racist and you have just the derogatory slur handy to make the point of how racist he is. And you used it effortlessly while, in the same sentence, condemning him so fiercely. That's just simply AMAZING. Call him a dog whistler if you'd like, but your ease to use such grotesque terms makes you an outward racist, no? Tongue and cheek saying you were speaking his mind doesn't justify that they came from your mouth.

i understand your revulsion. it is a disgusting term and i did not use it without consideration. no i do not throw around such phrases flippantly

just to be perfectly clear if i write either of the following two phrases

the ku klux klan hates blacks
the ku klux klan hates negroes

does either make me any closer to a klansman? no of course not. maybe you find one very offensive but it can be used for effect like i did to make my point and i stand by that

now if i said

I support the rights of negroes

that would actually be pretty twisted

instead of saying blacks or african-americans. even now some hate the word blacks

so the impact of a term is heavily dependent on which pronouns are being used

and i did have the gall to project their pov into that term

yes i accused him of being a racist
