For starters we've tried to make him play out of his preferred position his full time here. We've tried to make him a point forward under dantoni. We tried to make him a playmaker, a catch and shoot guy.

We've given him a rotation of coaches, playing styles and teammates that have never catered to him at any point.

And we've vilified him in the media after he took less money then the max to stay, asked for and got a ntc because he wants to play here, and have been trying to run him out of town for two seasons at least.

That's not quite literally everything

I mean he signed one of the most player friendly contracts we've ever seen. Steph Curry wasnt even given a NTC. He's survived multiple coaches, multiple GM's....has been given carte blanche over all of these regimes to shoot as much as he wants. There's been relatively no pressure to win. The guy has been given a ton from the organization.

Curry should have bought the NTC. The going rate is only $5 million, which is nothing for him in his new contract.

HOU is giving me that 2020 pick top 3 protected...at minimum for me to even consider that.

But what is CLE's incentive?

Im still not sure in what world would it make sense for the Rockets to trade Ariza and/or Gordon for Melo. A starting 5 that has Anderson, Melo, and Harden looks disastrous. I think Anderson has to be the outgoing player for Houston and if thats the case the Knicks need to find a third team that actually wants Anderson's contract

The only way I am accepting Anderson is if Houston is willing to take on Noah. Trade Melo/Noah for Anderson/Gordon/nonguaranteed contracts and we are good. In this case no picks need to change hands.

Yeah, Cavs can take the rights to a 30-year old chucker if they want to. He can hang out with Calderon.

Why would the Knicks take back garbage Anderson contract if they are getting Love from Cleveland? Makes zero sense. They can flip Love to 10 teams for a pick or 2 themselves.
