For once Wallys right. But we do need everything but a 4 so whomever the BPA is. And not according to mock drafts but according to the homework they've done.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

Szczerbiak, who doubles as a CBS college basketball analyst, told The Post he would take point guard studs Trae Young or Collin Sexton at No. 9, if on the board, over either of the Bridges, who are both small forwards.
“The point guard position in a Knicks uniform has to be solidified,” Szczerbiak said. “It’s been too long. That’s been the big-time need for this franchise. Unless you have a game plan to get Kyrie [Irving] and can solidify it that way, I think the point guard position is the most important position.”
That’s hardly a vote of confidence for the young Knicks trio of Frank Ntilikina, Trey Burke and Emmanuel Mudiay.
“They have a lot of really good point guards, but do they have an impact point guard in the NBA?” Szczerbiak said. “That’s the question. The answer to me is, it doesn’t look like it.”

High school Mitchell wouldn't even be drafted, let alone be a top 10 pick. It's not only Frank's long arms, Mitchell has a similar wingspan. Stop oversimplifying it
And you're the one that's gotta come in to threads and whine about Frank, so I don't know why you're acting like the victim
Malik asked me a question and I answered him what MY opinion was. Y'all are the ones who are butthurt about it. It's my opinion, don't care what you think. Kid was super raw even in Europe, y'all are the ones acting like he was Luka Doncic over there. Anyways, like I said, I answered a question that was asked to me, I didn't start the discussion I just engaged in it.
You're right, you didn't start it
BeagleBoss started by complaining about Frank (per usual) and saying the scouts that ranked him above Mitchell should be fired, then Fury responded to him, then he replied back.
After the third post, you replied with this:HEZI wrote:It didn't make much sense to me either, especially when they put this graphic up on draft night
That shyt had me in tears
So no, you didn't answer a question that was asked to you, you decided to jump on the "bash Frank" bandwagon much like you do in other threads
And show me where I have ever said he was anything but super raw in Europe, or that he isn't super raw right now
Show me where I was bashing Frank? I laughed at the people who made that graphic and if you followed the rest of the thread you would get the reasons why. I still went out of my way to not bash Frank, because the truth is I actually like Frank and I'm rooting for him. I can like Frank for who he is and still accept it that he's not and never will be Donovan Mitchell, that seems hard to do for some people though. They haven't accepted it and feel they need to bash Mitchell to make themselves feel better about Frank.

and then, when we draft a pg, and he doesn't ball out his 1st season, what then wally? we draft another point guard? **** both of wally's eyebrows.

You still haven't backed up your claims that I said Frank was a star in Europe or isn't still super raw, and now you're claiming that I bash Mitchell
You can say we missed on Mitchell, and that's a fair take. I've said that multiple times now. But I see you complaining about it all the time. That's why it's bashing Frank, cause you keep repeating it over and over. Like, we get it. Most of us would take Mitchell if we could go back, but we can't. Some of us just also like Frank. You can simultaneously think Mitchell will be the better player while also praising Frank
And again, you didn't have to get into Frank v Mitchell for the thousandth time, so stop pretending you're an innocent victim

A lot of articles are really high on Carter Jr. I don't know, I'd rather not take a big other than Bamba, but I guess I won't be too upset if we end up picking WCJ.

Serious question, do you even know what my first post said that you were responding to? Know what the conversation was? Do you even know what you said or did you see an opportunity to nitpick and say technically no one knows the future so no pick is a bad draft pick as if that's making a point? Like was that really profound to you? You click submit and think to yourself "now I got him, another win for semantic man"?
Why so mad?
And there's my answer.

That's where you got things twisted. You seem to be missing the whole context of these discussions. If you can't see the relationship in these debates with the topic of this thread then I don't know what to tell you. Every Frank vs. Mitchell debate relates to our scouting team, front office decision making and how it affects us leading up this upcoming draft. The past is the past and nobody can change it now, but that's not the point of the discussion right now.

I don't get Wally's Sexton lovefest. I think Sexton will be fine but I don't love his fit with the Knicks especially with his lack of shooting. If they are going to move Frank off the ball it better be for a defense bending offensive talent. Obviously for his job he probably doesn't want to have to analyse another season of losing but it is what it is. Knicks probably blew their shot at a game changing talent a few months ago.
