Now, there is a sense that what if the Lakers could Anthony Davis AND Kyrie? And they’re the ones who steal Kyrie Irving away from the Celtics and not the Knicks … There are people who believe that is the grand Laker plan.“

Why? They have almost a perfect starting 5. Nothing the Lakers give them now is better for them now or in the future if we're being honest... Maybe Lonzo? That's about it.

Yep, which is why NY actually work for both of them.
Its like Messier and the Rangers....... Yeah he won the majority of his championships with Gretzky, but by winning in NY he's treated like a champion on his own talent and doesn't live in Gretzky's shadow...... Sort of how Pippen lives in Jordan's shadow or how Lebron lived under the Big 3/Decision shadow until he won in Cleveland.
Kyrie I think went to the Celtics to do that their by Gordan's injury ruined the plan. To add insult to injury now the youth on the roster resent him for wanting to be the leader after they won without him.

Knicksfan1992 wrote:Honestly and this will be rebuked here pretty heavily... There's not enough of a difference between Kyrie and Kemba, to me, besides age and maybe that Kyrie is a little more passable on D when he cares enough to try to where I'd be truly upset if he ran back to Bron instead of us.... Like I think if you give either of those dudes a Durant to run with you're going to get a great season out of them regardless. Would it suck to be stuck with the brides maid? Yeah sure but as long as you already have Durant you can live with missing out on your second target, especially when it's Kemba.

I'm more worried about Kyrie to LAC than LAL
