Why would you do that? There are some things we don't want to remember. Maybe the past 7 years?

I posted about this last week too. That rekindled love affair was really...disconcerting.

i'm not worried about kyrie as a laker. he wanted to prove he could win it without lebron. he still needs to do that. going back to lebron is saying, i can't win without you. both durant and him have the same motivation, to prove something about wining without the best player or the best team.

 It really is quiet. I doubt we have much left to trade anyway. Provided we make no more trades...what does Perry do?

Kunter needs to go ASAP. He burned this bridge and needs to walk the smoldering plank!! GTFOH!!!

Wes Matthews. He's been really bad so far. What was he playing like in Dallas? I can't watch any more of that mess he displayed the last 2 games. Are we really keeping him in a mentor role? We have too many guards needing minutes. DSJ/Frank/Dot/Trier need all of the guard minutes IMO. I would love for Mud to be traded too.

Perry purged the shyt out of the roster for sure. If nothing else happens trade wise...I would hope the very last move is dumping Kunter. That's the one move he MUST make.

Why? They have almost a perfect starting 5. Nothing the Lakers give them now is better for them now or in the future if we're being honest... Maybe Lonzo? That's about it.

If it's just a video game it might be 'perfect' but these are real people with personalities, motivations and egos. Butler is already making noise about his role, Embiid is already making noise about touches and now with another cat coming on it just seems like it's just too much of a volatile mix.

The FO lose their power after the deadline and as much as they want to resign everyone and have everyone play nice it's a long shot for this to happen with this group. If they negotiate an 'if LA doesn't get AD' deal with the Lakers knowing they don't want to waste a season on LeBron and the worst ever blowout loss crew he's got now they might be willing to pony up a nice package of players and picks.

If they really think it will all work out sure they won't make any deal but it won't surprise me one bit if Bulter is the source of turmoil and possibly a season killing meltdown. Then they will have to decide to resign him if he even wants to come back and lose him for nothing which wouldn't' surprise me either.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Yep, which is why NY actually work for both of them.

Its like Messier and the Rangers....... Yeah he won the majority of his championships with Gretzky, but by winning in NY he's treated like a champion on his own talent and doesn't live in Gretzky's shadow...... Sort of how Pippen lives in Jordan's shadow or how Lebron lived under the Big 3/Decision shadow until he won in Cleveland.

Kyrie I think went to the Celtics to do that their by Gordan's injury ruined the plan. To add insult to injury now the youth on the roster resent him for wanting to be the leader after they won without him.

I don't understand why Kyrie would want to go back to that mess of LeBron's world after he did so much to leave it.

IT's career completely altered because Kyrie wanted to leave Cleveland so bad to get out of LeBron's hair. Now he wants to go back 2 years later?

I'm not buying it.

It’s because they’re weirdos. In 18 months they’ll probably resent each other. And demand trades.

Honestly and this will be rebuked here pretty heavily... There's not enough of a difference between Kyrie and Kemba, to me, besides age and maybe that Kyrie is a little more passable on D when he cares enough to try to where I'd be truly upset if he ran back to Bron instead of us.... Like I think if you give either of those dudes a Durant to run with you're going to get a great season out of them regardless. Would it suck to be stuck with the brides maid? Yeah sure but as long as you already have Durant you can live with missing out on your second target, especially when it's Kemba.

I do think kemba is a downgrade. But I am enamored with kemba and lillard's ability to take those deep 3's like curry, analytics say guys that can space the floor like that are highly effective. That's why I like trae young and think he will be an all star eventually. I wouldnt be mad at all with a kemba/durant/deandre summer.

You think Kyrie is going to leave Boston and go out West to the tougher conference to play with Avery Bradley, Gallinari, and Lou Williams? Only person I could see going out there is Kawhi cause he is deadset on LA. At least in NY there are a youth squad (like Boston tried to do) and potentially KD, and a high draft pick.
