Development is not always linear. RJ is proof of that.

Facts. And they want us to be mad if he proves us wrong lol when in reality we’re happy if he does cause it makes the Knicks a better team.

Bno, I’m coming home, are we there yet the same posters who wanted to get rid of Randle for garbage but now they wanna act like they’ve been geniuses and never missed on anything.

I never miss bro. Look at Frank, look at Shumpert, look at Porzingis, all superstars in this league just like a predicted 8-)

But nah, I just always preach patience with young players when people are ready to throw them away for nothing like RJ, Obi, and now people turning on IQ and while I haven't been happy with his play, I'm not ready to give up on the kid. A lot of people just have no patience and **** on the kids too early so I like to keep em honest.

I guess you missed the highlights of Frank’s breakout Mavs game? 8-)

I will say that RJ’s last game probably takes him out of the potential “Bust” category. I think the only discussion left is whether he’ll be a good or great player. Time will tell.

He hasn't been a potential bust since maybe the first 20 games of his career.

He was always looking like a high level starter at minimum. Those aren't busts.

I mean, he was getting dogged for being "3-D", but that's the most valuable archetype in the league outside of efficient playmakers

I think rj is on schedule. He doesnt have the dribbling and pullup chops to be the go to yet. But maybe next year rj may be able to become option 1

First 4 games were an extended pre-season for RJ.

RJ's season started against the Bulls and there is no looking back now!

Trouble with RJ being good is that it's drawing in Canadian Raptor fans like flies, much like we had to contend with the annoying Latvians during KP's time here. Oh well. Cost of RJ being good. May they continue to shower us with hipster do*chebag style gifs for the next 12 years.

They could be a powerful ally though, spreading our word of RJ throughout the main board and annoying all. They're conflicted, on one hand they want the Raptors to win titles, on the other hand RJ is their countrymen and it's looking like he has a chance to be the best home grown talent from GTA, so we have them right where we want them.

I like that Australian guy. We should have found a way to draft Josh Giddey to get more of the Aussie guys to balance out the Craptor fans

I think people don’t know how define what “bust” is.

To them, “bust” means a player ‘did not live up to the lofty dreamy unrealistic expectations I had for them in my head.’

We all know what a bust looks like, they look like this:
