I can see at this point we may just want to get rid of him and tank for a top pick. Having Anthony on the team I think will hurt our chances for a top 5 pick. I did predict a deal would happen right before or during camp.

I dont think the Knicks cave at all. Why would Perry do the peice about being ready for this chance/ He knows the deal and wont take garbage back they must hove told Melo as well. Like I said Melo wants to move on and the Knicks want a better deal. Melo does not hold all the cards and as far as the media circus PJ left town if there is a media circus it will come from Melo's side not the Knicks. Wait and see either we get a better deal as there is no hard set dead line or Melo stays a Knick

No that deal is crap why should we be letting the rockets escape for overpaying for CP? We need a young 3. Hartenstein is a 4/5 and anderson is a 4.....that deal does not gt the Knicks a 3 that they will need. It is up to the Rickets to get the deal we want not the deal they are sending. Melo may have a no trade but the Knicks own the contract and don't need to trade him. No long contracts that is why Anderson + no 3 automatically makes this a bad deal

I disagree. Plus....**** Melo. He needs to expand that list or Houston needs to get someone else...like Portland...to take Anderson. Otherwise....ride out the year.

Of course its a better deal. There a looot of option better than taking Anderson.

But if its either Anderson or Melo for two years. You take Anderson.
