kanter and elite in any context is just wrong. we got a couple turds and a 2nd rounder. stop hyping up garbage.

Lmao what wtf did you guys expect. And Kanter is an elite bench scorer he drops 14 in 20 minutes. Y'all act like he's anything else. We will need any scoring we can get.

i expected garbage i'm just saying you calling him an "elite bench scorer" is because he's such an abomination on defense he could never start for a winning team. and why exactly do we need his scoring? i thought we wanted to lose games?

I want the team to improve and if they are improving while taking losses so be it. I'm not rooting for losses. These guys are young and want to prove they can be something and I'm hoping they get some w's which will show they are something.

Don't care how bad his D is. He is an elite bench scorer. You speaking as if that's not a fact.

you'd probably trade KP for trash just to have a greater chance for doncic

He's right though. This is just as much addition by subtraction as anything else. We are rebuilding now, and we didn't take on any long term deals. I know you wanted some good assets, but there is a reason we heard names like Ryan Anderson and Moe Harkless. He was NEVER fetching a first rounder (some here even said they wanted the BK pick which makes my head spin). Hell to be honest I am surprised we got that Chicago 2nd, I didn't think any pick would be involved, let alone a top 35 pick.

we could've done better man. the least we could've done is get t-ferg. most of this board was expecting to get him. those were the expectations

Eh, just because those were the expectations from some doesn't mean it was realistic. I just think people are VASTLY overrating how much we could have gotten from Melo. Hell Paul George only got Oladipo and Sabonis. Even Jimmy Butler didn't really get much in return. Melo is by FAR the worst of those three players by a long shot. Again, there is a reason we were hearing Anderson, Harkless, Evan Turner, Leonard, etc. Expecting a first round pick from this past draft or future drafts was NEVER realistic.

gotta think another trade is in the works. Where are the minutes for WHG, Kanter, and KOQ? Something else will have to be going down. Obviously Willy is a main stay.

Our chances of drafting Mpjr or doncic have just increased exponentially.

Theirs no DOUBT now that this team will be top 5 pick bad, and finally we all get to sre what kp is really made of. No more kid gloves for him.

Duh because they are both rentals. Y'all can fool casual fans all you want.

Eh, I'm not surprised with melo, but even as a rental presti fleeced the pacers. I wouldn't be surprised if the reports about Pritchard refusing to trade him to an East team were true.

so kanter hogging the ball in the post off the bench is going to benefit the youth? all he does is take minutes away from whg who actually has potential. you're acting as if he's an asset but the only reason he's here is for the contracts to match with the hope that he opts out after this season. you won't be singing this song after a full season with this bum on our team and then deciding to opt in.

Any chance we flip Kanter..?

We take him in... We Give him good minutes for awhile.. Make his offense look amazing and cover up defensive holes with duct tape..

Then trade him for picks or young assets..?

Yeah. This summer shows how little realgm posters now about players market value. But it's fun debating tho

Noah is going to be the most expensive cheerleader in the NBA...

Because I'm for damm sure playing Hernangomez, O'quin, and Kanter before Noah play Center.
