Guess I'll have to catch this on FIBA Rewind, where they cut out all the good parts but leave in all the commercials

Fiz is already at it as we speak

We shouldn’t have signed Payton

We already know Perry is going to have Fiz playing Payton 28 mpg while Frank racks up the DNP's.

And don't think Mills isn't part of that. Frank is a Phil pick and Mills is vindictive as f*ck.

Dotson going to rack up DNP's as a Phil guy as well. Especially now that the Knicks have 3 legit SG options in front of him.

If and when Mills has any success, he won't want any Phil players tainting it.

Not saying they are all that as players, but Mills is definitely wired that way. I just know it.

they promised payton minutes, and a chance at starting, so you're right. dotson's minutes too will be inconsistent. most teams don't have 15 guys who needs minutes for a reason. and it really is 15 guys. i want to see iggy play. is he the 15th man ? it's overkill.

meh. I expect (didn't check but worked for other games) that French river site I sent you will have replays at odd hours when there is no live sports. But odd hours in France are probably going to be reasonable States-side.

Frank can play 1-3 easily. Played with Fournier and De Colo today, he can handle, or play of the ball.

Don't see how hes not gonna get minutes.

This game has proved that we fans and as well as the team has to be patient to the young guys. The dividend will be huge.
Are you fans of the team or the player?

it's fine not to have one. it's just multiple people with the same one that's confusing.

It's just obvious, even without a promise of minutes.

Perry brought up Burke and he initially got a LOT of minutes. Then they fluctuated but he got a lot of chances. Nothing wrong with that, see what you got. Trades for Mudiay, who proceeds to play a TON, even though no guarantee of return, knew they'd have to renounce his rights etc. That was Perry's guy and you can just hear him in Fiz's ear "That's my guy, play him!". I mean, Mudiay looked "ok" but he didn't make the full transition from polished turd to diamond.

Who did Mudiay ultimately get dropped for? A chance to pick up Payton. Now that's REALLY a Perry guy. Involved in drafting him and everything. I mean, Frank has zero chance against that. Honestly, if I were DSJr, I'd be nervous for my minutes too. Perry don't give a f*ck about your workout videos and instagram jumpers. He's got Payton, his guy.

They couldn't wait to jettison even Kornet. I mean, I get it, he's the classic 12th man at best. But that's a Phil project. Better to pay Bullocks to be broken for a year then resign Kornet, a Phil guy.

It's obvious it means something to Mills. I think Mills and Phil bumped heads and Mills strongly wants to prove Phil wrong in all ways. Surely Phil made some sh*t decisions, more than a few. I just see Mills as someone who wants to take it to the next level. I mean, his first act, when he had GM powers, was to race out and bring back THJr. Why? Because I'd bet he strongly advocated for him in the draft but big bad Phil traded him away. Mills RACED to resign him to prove big bad Phil wrong. Kudos to Mills and Perry for realizing he was kind of overpaid junk and clearing cap space.

I think with Perry it's more normal GM stuff. These guys have to have a lot of success and ego just to be around the league as long as Perry has, and he wants it to be HIS stamp, HIS guys. I think there is a little extra juice behind it to make Mills happy and get rid of guys. And if you think the guys are just "ok", like Perry feels about Frank or Dot and is probably right, then why bother with them?
