Taj is a great vet to have. Play smart like Taj. But then I wonder if we point to Randle and Portis and say "don't play like those guys".

I'd like to see Taj (and Morris) get in Randle's and Portis's ears. Those two guys are still young.

You know Randle is going to be called out for a couple of plays, no doubt.

But Portis has been playing very well as a backup. Played some good 5 when Mitch went out with his twisted ankle and one would think after his big game against the Bulls, he would go nuts.
But on the contrary, when Bobby Portis has had a shot he takes it. but rarely have I seen him go at 3-4 players.
He moves the ball and I will go out on a limb and say that even his defense is noticebly better.

Taj is exactly what we wanted DAJ to be last year, but really wasn't Now DAJ is with the Nyets, and not really doing much for them. Meanwhile, Taj is playing well and has to be the best possible example for Mitch. This says something about culture. The Nyets went shopping and sold a part of their team for KD. For proof, just look at how much better Boston is with Kemba than with Kyrie. KD not only had to return at 90% or more, but he'll have to make up for the negatives of Kyrie and DAJ.

Yeah but Life doesn't work that way.

One has to be ready for sudden opportunities and Frank was more than ready for his.

You remember the story of Lou Gehrig and Wally Pipp right? Story goes Wally Pipp, a very good player in his own right. on one rare occasion called out sick and was replaced by rookie Gehrig. Was the first day of his streak, in which he never, not once sat out for 15 years straight!

Anyway I degress, pardon me

Fate had it that Frank's moment came and now is his to loose. Cause he's just getting better everday day. Every game he's showing how invaluable he is and brings something new on both sides of ball

Oh yeah, true. But I'm making a point about Fizdale, i.e. that he doesn't recognize who he should play.

He played Frank a lot last year until the injury.

At small forward? While he gave all that burn to Mudiay at PG? That's was a great investment of developmental resources.
