a few GMs i won't even entertain or respond to their offers because they won't even attempt anything close to a fair deal. can't take anyone serious if they're unwilling to start remotely close. too comically absurd when they have sent.

My thoughts: The GMs that get things done are the ones who are flexible and fair. The GMs that never seem to make a trade are the ones that don't want to put in the work or are rigid as hell.
I always add something like let me know your thoughts and/or send me a counter if this is close. If there is no interest in my player, that should not be viewed as a low ball offer. It just means you prefer your player over mine.

i'm okay with GMs saying they have no interest, and won't entertain deals of mine; sometimes you don't want to move a player, and that's okay.
if you come to me with something that is too lopsided, i won't consider you worth having serious trade talk with. i have about 2-4 who i'll just mark the email as read, and won't even respond to

I always respond but I will add something like not close. Rubio is a player that I have received more offers for than anyone else in the last week. I don't have a interest in moving him. He is too valuable should Trae or McConnell get into foul trouble; or they are injured for one or two games.
Having a 3 star passing/defending PG as a 3rd stringer is a luxury. But its one I like. I'll trade him if I really like the incoming asset; but it is highly unlikely.
