Melo is all in for Kiyan in NYC. He recently spoke how he would love to play in this current team… He said with the way the league is playing he would average 28ppg even in an advaned age… he loves Brunson, OG, Hart and Towns genuinly

Seriously though, Melo was incredible - that team with Rasheed was the best since the Sprewell rosters. Unlike Randle, Melo was absolutely legit, no doubt. But I like this team’s passing style even more.

Seriously though, Melo was incredible - that team with Rasheed was the best since the Sprewell rosters. Unlike Randle, Melo was absolutely legit, no doubt. But I like this team’s paying style even more.

Melo was never a selfish player… but being that talented its not easy to trust scrubs like most of his teamates have been during his whole career…

Having a PG like Brunson and a bigman like KAT would make Melo a triple double machine! Also he always played defense when he had fun and not being depressed by Kevin Seraphins and Jose Calderons around

Our trade or big "talent infusion" (like when we added Hart, OG in past seasons mid-season) this season will be... drumroll please... Jericho Sims for Mitch Robinson and Precious Achuiwa... Sims' minutes will disappear and go to Mitch/Precious and a few OG/Mikal/Hart will finally be able to get normal minutes with Precious able to play a bit of the PF position next to KAT here and there. Improves our defense, rebounding, and late-game energy immediately.

Precious not having a contract after this season is the only reason I would even discuss trades at all. I just can't wait to see what him and Mitch bring to this team. I don't see any reason for a trade at this time.

Since Precious isn't expected to play more than 10-20 minutes, I can't see his earnings potential to be too crazy if we decide to try to retain his services this off-season. But we could cross that bridge when we get there... I imagine the 2nd half of the season is going to be one big audition for Precious and Mitch to see who we'll keep around.

Kessler or Richards would be a great addition for a championship run.

Melo pre 2014 was a borderline top 5 player. Right now Brunson is a borderline top 10 player and KAT a borderline top 20 player.

Typically when you combine a borderline top 5 with a borderline top 10 and top 20 your in the championship conversation.

NoDope mentioned in a different thread that if we traded for Kessler we wouldn’t be able to match an offer if we become a 2nd apron team after Mikal's extension? I was under the impression that we couldn’t match if we had partial bird rights (ex Hartenstein). But If we traded for Kessler, shouldn’t we have his full bird rights to match any contract along with resigning Mikal?
